She was furiously back-peddling trying to excuse her own ridiculous behaviour. She didn't want to admit her mistake and so she lied.

Every time the Americans say David guest i think they are saying David yes, too.

I don't think she told a lie, just what she thought happened which kinda did the way the conversation played out..

Angie: Davids dead
Tiff freaking out: No, what? David DAVID (Clearly meaning David Gest at this point)
Angie: Yes, David David (meaning David Bowie)

Then the whole..

Tiff: When did this happen?
Angie: Just now

Tiffany honestly thought David Gest had just died in the BB house.

Nope, not an intentional lie, just a natural assumption.
She heard David and assumed it was David Gest, no reason to believe otherwise.
In her head she thinks David Gest was said, because it's what she actually thought.:shrug:

You don't know it was a bare faced lie though, no Angie didn't say David Gest but I genuinely think Tiffany either mis heard her or just thought she said it

But the way the conversation went it looked liked she did say David Gest.

She never lied intentionally she was just freaked out.

I don't understand why Tiffany is so popular after such appalling behavior. Even after realizing she had made a mistake she was in the garden laughing and refused to apologize. I can understand John, Kristina and Danielle's reaction because Tiffany was being ridiculously insensitive to somebodies personal grief. I imagine all HM were feeling a certain amount of grief at the news. She was only thinking about herself. Why so popular? Can somebody explain?

I know Tiffany is a dramatic person, and has a history on reality shows, but i genuinely think she believed that Angie was talking about David in the house... the look on her face when she saw that David in the house was alive, and she started marching towards the living room to confront Angie, she was genuinely pissed off, she genuinely felt misled.

I agree Tiffany should have apologized sooner and understood Angie's pain, but at the same time Angie should have been more clear, and i don't completely discount the idea that Angie wanted this kind of attention...

She just said in the diary room she wants john and david not to tell anyone, and she didn't want the house to know, and then 20 minutes later she's telling Tiffany "David died just now"....

It was a mistake and Angie herself called it a comedy of errors

Tiffany didn't do anything rude and obnoxious.

A very unfortunate misunderstanding happened where Tiffany thought she was being told that David Gest had just dropped dead. This happened just weeks after Tiffany had suffered a miscarriage. It put her in a complete state. And by the time she really grasped what was going on and had calmed down, the vile racist bullies had already ganged up on her in the bathroom and told her they wanted her to leave. I don't blame her for saying she wouldn't apologise after that.

i agree that Tiffany reacted in a totally reasonable way, especially when she thought Angie was telling her not to tell the rest of the house, she did the honorable thing and insisted on telling everyone else.

but you are going a bit far saying that everyone was racist, especially because at first they were all consoling her, and being totally supportive of her when she first told them. They were all on her side at first.

Lets get all the Americans out first
