I think we've been too hard on Steph - none of us knows how hard it is n what hap....

I think we may have been too hard on Steph.I previously didn't like her much because I thought she should have controlled herself better too to stay away from Jeremy. But I've had a think about it and here's why we may have been too hard on her ................

Firstly none of us knows how hard it is in the house and none of us sees what happens 24/7. There may be some things that Jeremy said or his feelings actions over things that Steph saw just as she sat innocently chatting and laughing with him and Scotty, things that haven't been shown which didn't suit BB s purpose

to put her in a certain light that were hard to avoid for her and she maybe did genuinely fall in love with him

or start to because of seeing these things innocently. His love may also be genuine.I still think it ls bad she couldn't control herself to stay away from him but we don't know what happens that isn't shown that maybe something he did etc moved her innocently to start to fall for him and the same vice versa with him.Of course it could also be a big act by her and that isn't necessarily a bad thing because it means she has played a brilliant acting part fooling most people and normally people are rewarded for fooling people that well because her and her boyfriend really may be in it together. If they are and it is a total con then I do feel sorry for Jeremy and Steph deserves everything she gets but it really may be the case of it happened the way I said above too.

Whatever none of us know the real reasons they fell for each other that are probably somewhere in footage that has not been shown.

**** stephanie...

Stupid looking slapper clutching his pendant for the cameras to see, lying in her bed expecting sympathy. How embarrasing for you when not one of her hm's came through to massage her ego.

People simple cannot understand what happens when you live with someone 24 hours a day with no internet, radio or tv or books etc

As Jeremy said - in real life he would just have gone awy from her to his house or out or a walk etc but in there he could not

It is laughable to hear all the moralising about their situation from people who just dont understand the circumstances

Essentially its both jealousy and spite because both are young and attractive

it really is

So you want us to judge Steph on stuff we haven't seen or that might not have happened? :conf:

Totally agree with all the above

She is testament to the fact that there are obviously more people who know their own minds then BB would like to think...

Despite BOTS obv support of Gemma, now dumped and replaced with obv support for Tiffany, Steph remains still in there and increasing in support while Gemma is now almost bottom of the poll on here.
Despite so much negativity towards Steph yet positive praise of Gemma, people have made up their own minds and are not just falling for the pressure of others opinions....

Just shows how strong Steph is....we know she can't win but how great it would be to see her up in the top 3 with her friends ...and even more great see her go further than Gemma Collins....imagine those gasps from the crowd....oh it would be so good.

:clap1: Before they went in the house they were asked where they think they would come in the finishing order, only Gemma and Tiffany were arrogant enough to say they would win

hot2go 30-01-2016 10:41 AM

Seeing Steph in the theatre task laughing with the lads, the only girl left in the room, as Daniela, Tiffany and Gemma, all in their 30s and 40s, marched out in line, crying and sobbing....oh the joy . She's way smarter than people think

I agree it must be hard. I felt for Jeremy because Steph would not leave him alone...very demanding..very needy. However he could have told her straight...he should have made things clear to her...he should have been the bigger person by saying lets have fun..let's be good mates...but kissing and cuddling in bed and sleeping together is not part of the deal until you have sorted things out on the outside.

A very well thought out and delivered post cfromhx02. However Steph has to me been the BIGGEST disappointement ever. I loved her on launch night thought she was pretty natural and would be a lovely housemate. That love lasted for most of the first week. If she had been single I would have said her and Jeremy made a lovely couple. But one of the first things she said to the housemates is tht she had a boyfriend and that she loved him.

In fact she was trying to figure out who the single girls were in the house trying to do a bit of matchmaking. Jeremy in fact would have been better suited to Megan as Scotty is and will always be a serial shagger. What turned me off Steph was the constant crying and moaning and the guilt trip she was on about in the diary room while crying saying she loved her boyfriend then coming out and jumping into bed with Jeremy. So no Steph isn't what I expected her to be and I am gutted

This totally for me, her pledging her undying love for Sam and missing him so much in the diary room, did not indicate a relationship with problems, crying for a hug from him, to hear him and just see him.
Then she goes off and pursues a new relationship with Jeremy, she made me sick and I like you went off her bigtime.

I liked her in Hollyoaks and wanted to like her as a housemate. However her shocking behaviour and total lack of respect for her supposed boyfriend Sam. With the constant jumping into bed with Jeremy, left me thinking, this 22 year old woman, (not girl),was clearly untrustworthy, disrespectful, disloyal, selfish and not worth most peoples time and energy in the end.

Agree with this post...Steph must have told Jeremy things that we did not see as he mentioned in his interview how low her self esteem is and how she hasn't been treated well in the past. Reading between the lines, I think it is the first time someone has really cared for her and it overwhelmed her completely.

hot2go 30-01-2016 03:06 PM

Living with Tabloid Sam must have been a strange experience for someone with Stephs sense of fun and sense of humour....he is as dull as dish water and self obsessed ....lacking any charm or genuine warmth....I'm not surprised at all she has low self esteem and felt overwhelmed by the friendship that Jeremy showed towards her.
I trust Jeremy's instincts, I think he comes across as someone who can read people very clearly....if he says that she is vulnerable and genuine than it only confirms what my instincts are also telling me.

Stormy 30-01-2016 04:10 PM

Yes...I think people are being way too hard on her.

She is not married...she is not even engaged. She's an immature 20-something who is dating and she fell in love with someone else. Do you know how normal that is???? If you met and dated and stayed with the first man you thought you loved, that is rare. Not saying it's impossible but, now a days, it's very rare.

What isn't normal is that it happened in a fish bowl where everyone is watching and JUDGING. It can't be helped who you fall in love with and how. They can't run away from the situation and they are too young to temper themselves. Don't any of you remember what it is like when you were in your early twenties?

...And before you start bragging... "I was never like that in my 20's...I was mature and knew my morals" - well good for you for being so exceptional, now go pat yourself on the back, but leave the poor kids alone.

This pretty much sums up how I feel about it, well said.

I did not like her when she went in and I don't like her now.

:clap1: You've got her measure.

She is so selfish and self centred that the only thing important to her is what STEPHANIE wants. Bawling in the DR about how she loves her b/f then two minutes later she is in bed with Jeremy hinting that it's HIM that she wants; accusing BB of showing her in a bad light - is she freaking serious? Did she expect them to kow tow to her and ignore what she is doing in case it upsets poor little Stephie? (Cos after all she is only 22).
She seems to think she is a child who shouldn't be responsible for her own actions and she often cavorts around like a child too who is in the school playground (building the den!) etc  It's quite embarrassing really.

Yet with all that she is still so unaware of how she is coming across.

I'm not sure that she is 'all there' and should never have gone into the BB house in the first place. Her family must be worried sick.

Glad that some are now showing support for her. As for Gemma/Tiffany they are just jealous because Steph Is younger, prettier, and has 2 men interested in her. Tiffany especially, how desperate does she look, just can accept that none of the men are interested in her, shes a laughing stock.:cheer2:

Tom4784 30-01-2016 06:35 PM

Everything that's happened to her in that house has been down to her. She's responsible for her own actions.

Maru 30-01-2016 09:58 PM

I think most are making her more than she is. She is an immature girl of her age with emotional problems. Aside from that she can be a fun person to be around. It's more likely her early start in her career has stunted her growth than her own personality issues I think... probably fame/money too young and not hanging around the right influences like most young stars.

Pink Pegasus 30-01-2016 10:17 PM

Stephanie is extremely annoying, selfish at times, and acts like a child to gain sympathy from others.

I believe that her and Jeremy really do have feelings for each other though, and I can buy that she is genuinely very messed up emotionally right now.

It doesn't excuse either of them from carrying on like that when there's a boyfriend on the outside but tbh I'm not really too arsed about it all. They like each other, things shouldn't have happened this way and they should have shown more restraint and consideration for other people's feelings but **** happens and I don't care too much about it personally.

Her annoyingness and immaturity is more of a bugbear to me than any of this Jeremy/Sam stuff.
