a convicted male murderer

If the human was 100% definitely guilty (verified video evidence, or whatever) of an unprovoked murder of an innocent person then I'd shoot them just 'cause. Any other scenario I'd shoot the elephant.

What has the elephant done to deserve shooting?

Whichever of them was about to attack me, otherwise I would hold my fire.

I don't think I could kill another person. It's not to say that I think the elephants life is less important in this scenario, and there are situations where I think people don't deserve to live depending on what they've done. But if I had to pull the trigger myself, I don't think I could bring myself to shoot a person. So I'd choose the elephant, but only in a situation where I was forced to :fist:

I'd be tempted to shoot the murderer, but then I'd probably shoot whoever was making me choose.
