Why should she apolgoise for something she didn't mean in a racist way?

If she didn't mean it racst, she has nothing to apologise for.

The_Hitman 27-01-2007 01:36 PM

Who actually expected an apololgy from her? Shes far to weak a person to admit to something she did wrong. Let her crawl back under the stone that she belongs.

easypeasy 27-01-2007 01:43 PM

even Jade is right for once...........

texbex 27-01-2007 01:51 PM

well we knew she would say she didnt do anything wrong its obvious innit

Edwin 27-01-2007 02:08 PM

So what? She doesn't have to prove anything. She's an adult isn't she?

She also doesn't think that she was being racist or being a bully, she said that Shilpa annoyed her.

Red Moon 27-01-2007 02:22 PM

The Sun is on going what was said in the interview. It doesn't have seem to have talked to her.

The Daily Star has an exclusive interview in todays paper where she does sort of apologise for her time in the house in a round about way.

Quote:

“I’m sorry if I have offended people, but I am just proud of myself for staying in there and not walking out.”

andybigbro 27-01-2007 02:26 PM

Yeah i dont think she was racist at all

cc100 27-01-2007 02:29 PM

Even if it wasnt racist behaviour, it was still deplorable, and the three of them should be ashamed and embarrassed.

Still, Jo has no career to worry about- its back to the fruit machines to waste the rest of the money she earned from S Club 7.

Noopie 27-01-2007 02:43 PM

She should still apoligize for the bullying! Even if she didn't MEAN to hurt Shilpa, she still did and should feel a little bit sorry for coming across that way (even if she didn't intend to come across that way!)

I'm sorry but do you even watch Big Brother?

Jo would be the first person to admit if she had done something wrong and she is not the type of person to care so much about what people think of her to admit to something she is not guilty for.

Seriously... why does Jo need to apologise? She has done absolutely nothing wrong. Did we make Pete Burns apologise to the country? No.
Did we make Micheal Barrymore apologise to the public? No.
Did we make Victor/Jason/Emma/Nadia/Macro/Shell apologise? Nope, we sure didn't. Why is this Big Brother so different?

Of course she does. What about the bullying, the name calling, the bitching? Racist or not, she still behaved in a disgraceful fashion.

Well clearly she isn't the first person to admit if she has done something wrong. She might not have been racist, but she was certainly bitchy, spiteful and cruel.

As for not caring what people think - she seemed to care A LOT about what the crowd thought.

It is complete nonesense to expect a contestant to apologise for being a typical BB contestant. BB would sink without trace if their were no bad behavour from housemates. Past BB housemates from normal BB and celebrity BB have not apologised so why should Jo!!!!

In the case of Jade where her behavour and bully type argumenting went well over the top of acceptability well she did apologise and rightly so,,,

Average bitching behavour housemates should not grovel to public opinion demanding humilation from a housemate just for the pleasure of seing them squirm. Such a demand would be equvilant to bullying contestants.......Two wrongs do not make a right.......

Ruth 27-01-2007 04:54 PM

It wasn't average bitching behaviour though at all. It also went way over the top of acceptability.

kent 27-01-2007 05:04 PM

Jo has only 2 career choices now. Either work in MacDonalds, or work as a campaigner for the Ku Klux Klan.

easypeasy 27-01-2007 05:12 PM

she bottled out of the press coference after the show last night, guilty conscience after all?

 Of course it was average in fact less than average.Go look at some repeats of other BB series. Jo and Daniielles behavour is positivly tame by comparison....

lilmissnaughty 27-01-2007 05:19 PM

She says she not racist, so why on earth would she apologise for being a racist?

Slezer 27-01-2007 05:21 PM

"Jo arent you going to say antyhing"?
*Jo bursts into laughter*

Sums the bitch up. I hope somebody spits in her face when shes crawling out a nightclub one night.

Not at all. Just common sense. She knows how the press like to twist words for sensationalism to increase circulation figures.

That was the wisest decision under the circumstances of a public and media witch hunt and bullying exercise.....

James 27-01-2007 05:23 PM

The way some people talk, it's as if bitching - bad-mouthing someone behind their back - or direct verbal abuse is normal, everyday behavour to be encouraged even!

And I agree it's definately been at its worst this series.

Chrizzle 27-01-2007 05:26 PM

As Richie said though, why didn't Pete Burns get forced to apologise? The way he treated Traci and Jodie was disgusting.

because pete burns is such a f#ck-up himself it would be hard to view any of his nonsense as being credible.
