[Would you ******* believe it? A council has ******* banned swearing in public.
The council in question is Salford which has used a Public Space Protection Order
to tackle anti-social behaviour in the Salford Quays area which includes Media City
, home to the BBC, which might be just a coincidence. Part of the order says it will be deemed a
criminal offence if anyone is caught 'using foul and abusive language'. Public Space Protection Orders,
or PSPOs, are similar to ASBO's (anti-social behaviour orders)../......
If it is true that inconsiderate behaviour is increasing in our society, how should we deal with it?

Dickhead Terry Christian is a chav, and living proof that being a 'celebrity' is no guarantor that they will ever have anything intelligent to say outside of a script.

They'll make a ********** fortune in Salford if they enforce it :laugh: So much more is needed to make Salford safer than fining people for swearing

I have lived and still work in Salford and these so called "chavs" in Arista's pic are so few and far between - yeah you will see people like that but you'll see them anywhere. I am proud of being from Manchester and the diversity you will find there. Articles like this are so stereotypical. :shrug:

I can understand it if its a bunch of yobs shouting and swearing. If its a quiet little get tae **** or similar, I can't see it being enforced. These Chavs can all just **** off
