Well, if we had access to a live feed instead of edited episodes and sporadic twitter updates on the going ons between housemates we'd know for sure, wouldn't we?

Who is to say that the two wouldn't get along outside of the BB fishbowl. Each has a series of irritable traits that the other just can't stand given the BB environment and all. And it's impossible to avoid one another completely. The two are very stubborn though, and won't let go of things without getting the last word in edge wise; hence the friction between them.

I really like him. He's perceptive, he thinks outside the box.

he only did that cause andy had made a big song and dance about people gossiping and not being upfront. which in itself is laughable considering what Andy's like in the dr.

TBF talking in the diary room is slightly different to bitching to other housemates.

However, I find it slightly ridiculous when people go off on one about others being twofaced. Everyone is two faced to some degree..and sometimes its a good thing IMO. Not everything needs to be said to peoples faces, in many situations it would be just cruel :shrug:

And didn't Andy first bring up that topic partly in defense of Hughie when Lateysha and her group were unfairly judging him off of what Natalie divulged when the Others entered the house? That little detail never came across (from what the viewers saw) when Andy got labeled a snake and **** stirrer.

He did it because he was spoiling for an argument and trying to look like the big hero taking on the "sneaky gameplayer" of the house.

it makes him look hypocritical when that's been his big issue in the house:blush:

I remember thinking how incredibly stupid Hughie was at that time....too busy shouting again to even realise that Andy, who he was barking at, had just defended him and the person Hughie saw as his ally was the actual bitch who had been slagging him off. Before that point Andy had never said a bad word about Hughie.
Andy and Jayne spoke up against the bitching towards Hughie and what did Hughie do ? Went to the diary room and nominated em both.

I said she didn't mean it when she said it, that's not the same thing ....he should have realised that but he doesn't listen or stop to think that things aren't always the way they look. But my beef with him isn't that, that was the point where I started to question him cause before that I was very much in his side...my problem with Hughie is how frustrating he is to watch when he keeps shooting over everyone and when he explodes with no control everytime anyone challenges him about anything.

Every thing he says seems calculated to make the public like him.

..I'm sure that he does have many positive things to say outside of the house but I think that his gameplan in the house is largely pointing out to the viewers what the flaws in others are, so often saying the negatives...'oh, the way Hughie looks at me, have you noticed viewers'...'see how this and that one are gossiping, have you noticed viewers'...etc...it's a game show, he plays a game and that's cool and lovely...I just personally don't admire that gameplay that tries to make him look good by focusing on others looking bad...
