Rumour is that he was punched several times by another UKIP MEP.

bots 06-10-2016 12:13 PM

we obviously selected some nice representatives for ourselves there .... not

Firewire 06-10-2016 12:16 PM

What a delightful party

Jack_ 06-10-2016 12:24 PM

Sad, in both senses of the word.

UserSince2005 06-10-2016 01:00 PM

Was originally thinking this was going to be a European attack on British values. Imagine the scandal

Cherie 06-10-2016 01:05 PM

Apparently he is in a serious condition, I hope he is okay, no one deserves that

Braden 06-10-2016 01:07 PM

I hope he recovers. There's a few stupid people acting like this is nothing because of his political views. He has a wife and a daughter.

Well we can take comfort in the fact that if he comes out of this brain damaged, unable to understand and derive logical ideas, then he has a promising career as a labour mp.

Kizzy 06-10-2016 01:36 PM

Obviously I wish the guy well, the wording of the statement regarding the incident 'lively exchanges' is odd though... however you try dress it up it's extreme violence that caused 'serious' injuries during exchanges.

Cherie 06-10-2016 01:50 PM

Apparently he hit his head against a wall, and suffered a bleed on the brain, his condition is improving.

bots 06-10-2016 01:56 PM

i want to know who took his jacket off and went outside to have a fight with him. Why are they withholding his name

No blood clot on his brain
he is now feeling better

Braden 06-10-2016 02:06 PM

There's speculation that there was a meeting with UKIP members, and Steven Woolfe claimed that he was considering defecting to Conservatives. Things got heated so he asked whoever it was to take the problem outside and that's where he was hit.

I don't know how true that is though. I'm not sure why he'd want to take the problem outside of that were the case.

No he said her speech was good.
As he is out of the EU.

Conservatives would not have him.

this is why you should never fight on tarmac or any hard surface, they should have found grass.

That's what I read on The Guardian. I took it with a pinch of salt though because it didn't seem too realistic.

...what does this have to do with the state of UKIP in 2016? Or anything at all?
