user104658 21-02-2017 09:18 PM

Yaaay lets reduce everyone's benefits because look at this proof.

Kizzy 21-02-2017 09:20 PM

It's not really a laughing matter when people can't afford to eat, the article states a quote 'people should get used to higher food prices after brexit'... yeah, like we should just put up and shut up as it's 'what we wanted innit?'... foff!

Plus the whole effing thing is an advert for this muscle/offal website.... is everyone blind?... :(

RichardG 21-02-2017 09:21 PM

i'm not a vegetarian but all that meat makes me feel ill :omgno:

I can second that, I used to work on the produce section and every time we did reductions we literally had to rope off a section for people to queue and have a security guard to keep the peace. It was insane.

Same here, especially on Sundays. People would literally grab stuff out of your hands and one time a bloke made my hand bleed grabbing a yogurt off me :(

Yeah she says it's exactly like that

Kizzy 21-02-2017 09:42 PM

I have seen that, I have also been in that situation ... it's not pleasant.
I do believe in being frugal and not being wasteful, but the cynic in me is thinking what is the hidden agenda here...Like TS mentioned is it to prep people for further cuts, or worse, food shortages?

Denver 21-02-2017 09:43 PM

I spend that on 1 meal at the takeaway

Jason. 21-02-2017 09:49 PM

That food looks grim.

You young ones don't know you're born, back during the war we had to live on mouldy bread dipped in the bone marrow of roadkill AND WE WERE BLOODY GRATEFUL.

Do they do a follow up article where she can't be arsed cooking, orders takeaway and half of that food ends up in the bin out of date?
