Unconventional/unpopular Eurovision opinions?

I think the thread title is self-explanitory.

Here's mine.

1. Euphoria was an okay Dance entry from Sweden in 2012, I don't get how it's a masterpiece, personally I felt that the Russian Grannies were more fun if the public wanted a more fun winner.

2. Hungary, Bulgaria, Germany, France, Cyprus, Croatia, Georgia, Austria, and Armenia should've all placed higher than Russia in last years Eurovision as they was all either better sung, better songs, or better performed/emoted.

3. Songs should be allowed to be more serious/political otherwise the songs will all start getting samey and thus start getting boring to listen to.

4. Norway on average have better songs than Sweden as they stick out in my memory more.

5. Hard Rock Hallelujah and Fairytale are the best Eurovision winners in recent times.

6. Whilst I do think that there's a case that Mainland Europe has a bias against the UK entries, i.e Molly finishing 17th when she delivered quality of a top 10 finish, I do also believe that most of the time the UK are sending out bad entries which are then making us finish even lower and justifying them putting abysmal entries above ours.

Loreen made it an experience and people respnded to it. It was amazing.
And I liked and supported Molly BC of Europeans saying she had a chance but I didn't hear how great it was

Daz Sampson was robbed, our best entry of the last twenty years

I don't know if this is a controversial opinion but children of the universe is one of the UK's best ever entries and an absolute choon!

It was everything that is wrong with our pathetic entries over the last decade

this year included in the overall bland, lyrically awful mess

Eurovision is overrated

There's one for you

Denver 25-02-2017 01:55 PM

Molly had no stage presence and her vocals were not good enough

Denver 25-02-2017 01:56 PM

Popular is the best Swedish entry ever

Israel, Azerbaijan, Russia and Australia should not be allowed to particiate

Babayaro. 25-02-2017 02:08 PM

The Netherlands should have won last year

Sergey is one of the worst entries of the 2010's and his staging really wasn't all that spectacular.

it was way too simple those lyrics, more like a karaoke song, and i really was singing with it, but hating it at the same time

this is one of the best ever Eurovision songs, in many ways its the anthem of Eurovision, only beaten by a few like say Waterloo

Calderyon 25-02-2017 03:48 PM

Måns Zelmerlöw deserved to win and his song was the best one that year.

VanessaFeltz. 25-02-2017 03:54 PM

Spain shouldve won 2013
Belgium shouldve won 2010
Eurovision has some of the ****tiest songs on the planet

user104658 26-02-2017 09:52 AM

Jedward's "Lipstick" is the best eurovision song in history. It might actually just be THE best song in history .

Mystic Mock 27-02-2017 04:54 AM

Loreen's Statements is better than her Euphoria as it's less mainstream and more unpredictable.

Jamie89 27-02-2017 10:02 AM

Last years was the first one I watched properly and I thought Australia and Russia's entries were very overrated
