I do as all of the UK does when referring to hot weather but when we dip below 60F i revert to Celsius

If I say wow next week will be 35C most wont compute but if I say 95 F all will

similarly if I say that next week will be 45 F no one will compute but if I say 7 C all will

I'd be a bit worried about someone living in UK who doesn't understand celcius tbh. I've never heard of anyone using both scales in Ireland or Portugal either. :umm2:

been that way in the UK for longer than anyone on Tibb can remember

everyone understands both but we use both. Unlike say the USA we use -3 C but never 27F

we say that temps will be in the 80s but never in the 20s when talking about summer

summer temps usually get F but we also use C but winter we tend to stick to C

look at the actual state of this in Brighton
