My daughter is going to be on Come Dine With Me
 

Hello forum,

Just some fun news for you, my eldest Kerry is going to be on tv's Come Dine With Me. She had a stint on TV before when she was a student on how clean is your house and now she's going to be back on our screens for the popular cookery gameshow.

She received a phonecall at her work landline saying that the team would be in Swansea and were looking for contestants. She gave her personal number and email and has since progressed to the final stage.
They will be filming in August.

It's great news for her as she's had a bit of rotten year thus far. I will tell you all when her episode will air.

I suggested a 'welsh' theme with favourites including welsh rarebit, leek soup, glamorgan sausages, local welsh produce... but there are five contestants and maybe she needs to think outside the box a little more. She has a few ideas but I imagine they have to be run by producers . It should be very interesting to learn what happens behind the scenes! R.

it's not a big deal if you can't but maybe when it's on the television maybe you could post about what happens off-screen from your daughters pov and stuff about the production? idk if that's allowed though

Is this the one that likes Little Mix? Maybe she could do a Little Mix themed menu with food from all of their hometowns, and then you could come on and sing 'Shout Out to my Ex'? :joker:
