Is this the worst season of big brother US ever?
 

I'm not usually one to jump the gun before a season has ended but this season is just... truly awful. It's totally stagnant in terms of storyline, has a terrible cast and is like a lovechild of BB16 and survivor redemption island.

Is this pretty much concensus already or do we still think 9/14/16/18/other is worse?

For me it's definitely in the bottom dredges but I'm still not sure how I'd rank it among 12/14/16/18 (wow good job Allison, your formula is really working well) and probably won't be sure until the season's near the end. Like, I'd say that so far it's probably better than 14/16/18 for me, but we're like three days into the second half of the season and it already seems irredeemable. It's like we just jumped out of a plane to go skydiving and suddenly realized that we forgot our parachute.

I'm only wiki-watching the season, but from most of the stuff I've read it looks even more insufferable than 14, 16, 18 and 8 :worry:

It´s getting very close. Especially if Paul ends up winning the whole thing.

It's the worst I think.

Definitely worse than 12, 16 and 18. I didn't see the second half of 14 so I'm unsure.

At least 16 had Donny and Zack who made it pretty far.

I haven't even watched all the seasons and I think it's getting to that point. Up until, I'd say Jess used the Hex I was really enjoying it because there was so much more drama than 18 which I found really quite boring, but now it's like there's no hope of it getting good and the cast is just TERRIBLE and I can't even blame Paul at this point in time.

That title goes to BB18

Talking of Paul winning, if he does this could end up as my favourite season since BB11

Casual viewers may say that as its a very fake show, it's not 'Big Brother' its almost scripted. For feedsters and people following the ins of the show its infuriating however.

It has then potential to be the worst but so far 9 still holds that record. 16 is currently better than it but that could change.

Anything with Sheila in is not the worst season

9 was the worst until BB14 came along[potentially 12 but it was my first season so i have a soft spot for it despite it being kinda dull].

12 was actually not bad in the first half, 16 suffered probably the worst boot order in BBUS history (can we imagine a Devin/Paola/Joey/Brittany final 4 for a moment?), 18 I gave up straight after our heavenly father, the lord, our messiah, Jozea was evicted so I don't really know what happened lol.

So it'd be a toss up against 14 for me which I honestly can't think of a redeemable quality for (well, maybe Joe :love:)

You haven't really missed out on anything then, well other than Natalie/Bridgette/Day tbf but even then they weren't shown that much

The worst 3 are BB19, BB14 and BB18 I agree.

I think BB18 is slightly better than both because pre-jury it was a mess in a good way. It was very entertaining as well, because characters like Tiff, Frank.

Nicole and Paulie sucked out the enjoyment in the second half though.

Whereas BB19 has sucked from pretty early on with the enjoyment being sucked out pre-jury. Also BB14 was just a mess - the cast, the producer involvement, the twist. So it's still between BB14/BB19 for worst season, just narrowing out BB18 for me.

BB18 had Da'Vonne in jury so is automatically better than 14/16/19 etc.

Da'Vonne was not that good lol. And BB18 was dead on arrival, I can't remember a season that was so evidently **** as soon as the feeds turned on. There were exactly five days of entertainment with Paulie's downfall but then it went back to **** again.

BB18 was a frustrating experience as anytime there's hope for something good to happen some ****er ruins it. There's literally only one tolerable person left in the F8 :skull:

Michelle/Natalie had phases of being good HM's also.

I liken this season to cancer. It seemed perfectly healthy at first, until a malignant tumor suddenly appeared, and it spread quick. It got to a stage where it became terminal and it's now in its final days.

In regards to it being the worst, I've only seen about five seasons (the good ones) and it doesn't compare, so what do I know.

Right now I'd still say 16 and 18 are worse. Despite 19 being awful I did genuinely enjoy the early drama whereas I don't think I enjoyed anything about 16 or 18 (ok maybe Paulie's downfall for the latter but that was only 1 week)

I don't watch BBUS but I've seen plenty of clips to understand the hatred of it. Paul in particular represents one of my most hated TV archetypes, which is a loud overbearing asshole who thinks goading people and loud volume is entertaining for him and his friends and gives him an advantage. Sounds like an utter season ruiner, not that I know much about anyone else in this season.

I can't comment on whether this is the worst season since i've never seen BBUS but i wouldn't hold it against someone to think it is by the looks of things
