Cone of chips and a savory cake

thesheriff443 21-10-2017 10:43 AM

For myself, cod and chips, battered sausage and chips, steak and kidney pie and chips, fish cake and chips.

Its hard to find a good chippy, best fish and chips is at a seaside town chippy.

They do great fish and chips on the pier at Brighton.

A grilled chicken wrap with chips and salad

caprimint 21-10-2017 11:34 AM

Poor Niamh :worry:

I don't really ever go to the chip shop, but I would just be basic and get chips with vinegar and tomato sauce.

Jake. 21-10-2017 11:52 AM

Probably my last choice for a takeaway but anything really, chips with fish or sausage and curry sauce, also love the spring rolls they do

smudgie 21-10-2017 12:31 PM

For some weird reason I call it the fishy, as it is the fish shop.
Any how, my kids were only allowed chips if they had a fish with it when they were younger..I told myself it was then a healthy meal.
Hubby gets fish and chips, I normally just have a fish, with salt and tomato sauce on, with bread and butter.

thesheriff443 21-10-2017 12:36 PM

Years ago and I mean years, there use to be Mobile chipy come round.

Beso 21-10-2017 01:22 PM

Shaun 21-10-2017 01:31 PM

just cod and chips tbh

can't be dealing with silly sides/sauces.

Benjamin 21-10-2017 01:33 PM

A cheeky little battered sausage (or two if there are no jumbos) and a tiny (big) portion of chips because I'm a fat ****.

Will. 21-10-2017 01:36 PM

2 battered sausage and large chips (normally put cheese on the chips to make cheesy chips)
A few of slices of bread butter or a bread roll
A chicken or steak mini pie if I’m feeling extra hungry

Sausage and chips or battered sausage and chips

Babayaro. 21-10-2017 01:53 PM

Either a half pizza supper, sausage supper, black pudding supper, white pudding supper or a spicy haggis supper :)

Morgan. 21-10-2017 02:21 PM

I find it too sickly, and greasy tbh

Nancy. 21-10-2017 02:34 PM

I don't go very often but when I do we have Cod and chips with mushy peas (always with scraps), or sometimes we have battered sausage and chips.

Aside from salt, what else do you guys put on your meal - vinegar or ketchup?

I prefer vinegar.

Nicky91 21-10-2017 02:37 PM

i put mayonaise, curry ketchup, it's a sort of tomato ketchup but with more spices :D

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 21-10-2017 02:42 PM
