She's defending a homophobe though - someone who is an LGBT role model should be doing what they can to get rid of those views and educate people on why they are wrong and that's what Shane is trying to do

As She said he is making complaints about things in a country he has no rights in when she is the one married to a women and knows what the rights in the UK are.

Amanda can do as she likes, but if we are talking about a true role model for LGBT people it cannot be someone who is defending a homophobe and trying to shut someone up for trying to educate that homophobe

You can have your opinions on both of them but you can't seriously think Shane has been a bad role model for LGBT people, or less so than Amanda

She didn't do that. Shane was not talking to Ann about her views, he was talking behind her back to everyone else to try and get them to gang up on Ann. Big difference between trying to educate her, and trying to turn the house against her.

Why should she have too? She had to fight for her rights as a woman

She doesn't HAVE to but if you're going to be considered more of an LGBT role model than Shane you probably should have
