Your first experiences of the internet?

what do you remember from when you first accessed the internet?

I got my first computer put in the sitting room working off AoL dial up in like 2005, I remember the AoL chatroom and MSN homepage with the news on :joker: Idr how I found it but me and my friends all had a Piczo in primary school and played Millsberry all the time whilst using Musicjesus to embed and listen to music vids of bops <3 Later on came the MSN messenger, Habbo Hotel and Limewire/Frostwire era :clap1:.

Why would you want to makeover Squiggle?

Crimson Dynamo 01-03-2018 11:28 AM

Probably around 1993 when we got it at work. I had a 9" Apple Mac and dialed up on it at home. At Capital we had one of the early websites and i had to go round Ad Agencies to sell them the idea - naturally half of them told me it would not catch on...
