Interestng stuff from todays meeting with fansites and execs at Elstree
 

So today fansites went to Elstree studios for a meeting with the execs regarding the upcoming series of CBB. Heres some of what went on today and apparently theres more info to come.

Just out of the meeting with the #CBB #BBUK execs! To clear up one burning issue quickly - don't expect any live feed other than eviction nights!

Apparently there's another side to the #CBB eye, and we'll get to see it in the titles - which are neon, but not like the trailer #BBUK


The 'A Storm Unleashed' episode of #CBB on Friday 16th August is apparently not a live show, but there is something to stick around for #BBUK

Some good news about the upcoming civilian #BBUK housemates - they're actively trying to find new faces rather than media types and people from other reality shows

There will be no free APP voting

FYI, for those wondering, the 'Eye of the Storm' theme is mainly relating to the housemates - it doesn't mean they're going to do everything they can to be controversial #BBUK #CBB

The new execs - Paul Osborne and Tamsin Dodgson - are very passionate about the original #BBUK #CBB format and are doing their best to build on January's series (but their hands are tied on live feed)

The #CBB #BBUK execs don't like doing backdoor evictions, but sometimes they have to (too many housemates/not enough time) - they try to do them as creatively as possible

That's what happens when you have 16 housemates for a 4 week series and don't have the first eviction until Day 11

TBH though im glad there isn't an eviction on like day 3 anymore because in true CBB and BB tradition the most entertaining goes first so the longer we get with them the better but when theres like 8 in the final that's an issue lol.

I wondered why the eye had bits sticking out of it, will be interesting to see.

The hunt for “normal” housemates, consistent nominations and weekly shopping tasks have left me intrigued.

I dont even believe them but im happy

The part about the eye having another side to it interests me. As for the backdoor evictions just put less housemates in if you don't have the allocated time for every housemate to have an eviction.

The launch night twist is no shock.

About as interesting as bb without live feed.....sorry ponty...luv ya lad.

I've been over BBUK for a few years now and laugh @ the empty promises made every year, but I can't like this does all sound quite promising. Lets see whether it's the same old lies as usual or whether they'll actually stick to what they say.

Still think they should've brought Open Auditions back tho if they wanted a better shot at finding real people

For once, the promises seem genuine. Even if they stick to this 70% of the time, it's a massive step in the right direction.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I think they /did/ do this. I remember seeing on twitter images of the casting building with signs saying "auditions this way" etc.
