Why is there so much animosity towards Anamelia ?
 

As we have all seen on social media and here, Anamelia has ruffled a few feathers and has been the victim of hatred from the public. I don't understand why. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Anamelia has only made the situation about herself twice. 1) The whole "caramel man" situation with Lewis F. 2)Tonight's episode regarding her childhood experience. So I don't understand why Kenaley and Brooke were talking about her as is shes so selfish and controls all the situations.

In my opinion, I think everyone is allowing the public opinion to cloud reality because she isn't as bad as everyone wants to make her out to be.

Maybe I've missed an episode so please feel free to fill me in.

But the housemates haven't got a clue if she's loved or hated ?? :rolleyes: . They are living with her 24/7 and clearly she's a nightmare and it's always about her all the time ! .

The show is edited , there's probably more irritating stuff that hasn't been aired. But the ones that you mentioned is enough , plus in general she's full of herself , the sex story was such BS , and in general she always dominated conversations and that's why they have a problem with her .

She's a self centred PIA, but dog piling on her like that was viscous. Anyone would be defensive being barraged like that.

I think it's easy to wonder this when we're shown roughly 45 minutes of a 24 hour day. When you take that 45 minutes we're shown (where let's face it, it's the Anamelia show already lol :love:) and that's blown into living with her in this fishbowl environment then people are going to pick flaws in each other. Anamelia has proven herself to be self-righteous, hypocritical and self-absorbed so honestly if I was living with her I probably would have animosity towards her too. (Luckily I'm not and she's producing fab telly)

...I don’t dislike Anamélia, I don’t think she’s in any way mean spirited or anything...but for me she’s just having too much airtime devoted to her...(...she reminds me a little bit of Makosi in her vibe..)...and Makosi was great viewing ..(...love her or hate her...)...but that was back in the day of live feed...so we still got to see all of the other housemates as well in balance of their antics and dramas....not so with this format...we only get a short highlight show ...so any one housemate dominating that show is only ever going to appeal to a ‘niche’...of an already diminishing audience and fan base....not good at all, BB can’t afford to lose fans because it’s become the Anamelia Show...sorry Jack, t’is true...not sorry, Jack_....she needs to go as other housemates are so slipping under the radar atm when they’re not being great either...

She's all me me me. Always talking about herself and not at all interested in getting to know the others.

Very well put Dolce. I think she is a great housemate, fiesty, dogmatic at times, fiercely competitive. Unfortunately she will be making an early exit and that is a crying shame. Under all that bravado is a bruised soul. I can identify with her on the 'no hugs and i love you' parents. I never got them either and now with my own kids I make sure they know how much I love them. I know my parents loved me but showing affection was never in our house. Anamelia is covering vulnerabilty (yes HONESTLY) by her 'in your face' antics and I for one like her

She really does my head in. So extremely annoying and self centered. Thank god its a vote to evict

Im interested because she is charismatic and she is eccentric.
There is no one else like her and hasnt been for a while.

So although she is irritating - she is better to watch than say Sian who is like watching paint dry.

Anameila is being so freaky i think because she cant handle being/acting/relaxing on TV yet cant resist showing off- its just what BB is all about.

Its true but she is also a target - if she wasnt there, how would Lewis G or Isaac be faring?

They ve attacked her - and now theres two groups and I like this. She has her mates a motley crew of Classic BB characters - and their crew - the ones only wanting fame and looking like their cool - Lewis G/Isaac. So it would be sad to loose her so early when there are boring people like Sian to go.

Yeah she’s creating what could be a ledgendary dynamic like it’s only 5 days in and the balls rolling. Hopefully the British public aren’t mindless idiots

Sorry for butting in - but the Bear was CBB and it was in 2016 - this is civiliian - thanks for bringing Bear up again, but this has nothing to do with him.

Anamelia is a pathological egomaniac - Bear was just a wind up. And We have to learn to agree to disagree that I think that without Bear that series would be have been a dead duck.

Its not about Bear anymore. Bear wasnt an egomaniac - he just rebelled once he was up for eternal nomination. This has no parallel.

Bear was an outkast and Anamelia needs to be loved.
There is nothing similar about them.

Totally agree - she is sorta unbearable - but I would like her to stay another week or two - because she is creating a great dynamic. Sian needs to go.

Im loving her group with Tomasz - and the other group - its a great beginning. Cliques forming...Lewis G is as much to play in the dynamic as Anamelia no doubt.

If i was in there i would probably react worse than lewis f. I would be climbing the wall! :joker:

If she goes then I don't think there's a lot happening that will keep me watching. So seems the show will lose viewers either way. She has to stay otherwise there is no-one to stand in the way of Lewis G dominating.

Its no surprise she has no friends in the house and they have turned against her. They hate her.
