Is Lewis hanging onto Cameron's coat tails.

It is obvious that Lewis's popularity is down to his friendship with Cameron.

He has clung onto Cameron like a limpit since night one relying on Cameron's influences in the house to make him tolerable at most to the other housemates and viewers.

So it's Cameron's popularity that has made Lewis seem popular.

Vanessa 25-10-2018 11:09 AM

Nope, he has a new best friend : Brooke!

chuff me dizzy 25-10-2018 11:11 AM

Lewis's popularity is down to him alone, nothing whatsoever to do with Cameron

I wouldn't say so. Lewis and Cameron seem to be back on track now, think they will stay friends on the outside too.

I agree, but they also have other friends.

Lewis is his own man...he doesn't need anyone to hang off.

They hardly spend any time together now. They're still friends, but they don't depend on each other at all.

Definitely not, Lewis is his own person, it was most likely the other way around, C. following L. L has given C the confidence he needed to fit in with the others on a more relaxed attitude.

Lewis is Lewis no matter what, he has his own agenda and he uses it. He is totally loyal to those who are loyal to him. He wouldnt be teasing him like he has done, if he relied on him.

Do you really Ness, Lewis was scaling the bookies before the episode with the coming out bit. The event just enhanced his popularity but I would say it was the other way around tbh. :wavey:

Yes. Him and Cameron are not even spending much time together anymore, but he's getting more and more popular.
Just look at his winning odds and he's topping all the polls by a large margin.

If anything Cameron was following Lewis around for the first 3 weeks...its only recently Cameron has spread his wings.

True. They both have their own friends now, which i think is why Lewis is looking happier and more relaxed.

They were with each other all the time, at times with others too, yesterday in the highlights.

Sat together all through the game changer too.

However no, neither needs the other.
They have the best and strongest friendship in the house over the whole series.
That's all.

A friendship both state is for life.
For 'life'.
Their words, no one else's.

The last thing either would want, are people, trying to diminish that friendship and their incredible, near unique strong bond.
By inferring one or the other is not genuine in their massive respect and admiration for each other.
Ridiculous.

That is doing both of them an unfair and massive disservice.

I do think that Cameron has frozen out Lewis after Issy eviction. But they seem on good terms now and that's good enough for me.

Sounds like you:re saying Lewis has played the perfect game plan to make himself the favourite.

I think you give Lewis too much credit.

You're thinking wrong then, sorry.
As last night showed from start to finish across all the highlights.

I feel pretty sure both of them would hate to be hearing that from anyone.
It's just not the case.

How on earth can a man who spent most of his time isolating himsel from the group in the early days be credited for helping Cameron fit in with the other hms??? Makes no bloomin sense at all, especially when Cameron has hardly received any noms at all and is a close friend to almost all the remaining hms..

It could be that Cameron was very upset about Issy going, so he acted cold and distant. Who knows? But they're fine now and that's all that matters really.

Well said Joey...they have the only genuine friendship in there and I do believe it will continue after the show...I actually think Brooke and Lewis will remain friends also.

that's about right; the only things going for lewis are his "help" with coming out and his looks
sadly some people can't see past that to realize he is one unhappy and troubled individual

They still seem to spend a lot time together, just not as much as they did 8/9 days ago. I think we Lewis started spending time with Isabelle, Cameron started to make new friendships, It doesn't mean he has been disloyal to Lewis.
