Esmee Denters (YouTube singer)
 

I stumbled across her the other day on YouTube and I actually think she's very very good.

They could make a huge success story (like Sandi Thom, Lily Allen) out of this girl, she could be a YouTube sensation.

I really like her anyway, any comments?

I saw her profile linked somewhere ages ago when she just had 2 vids up. She had a really good voice I thought.

With the success of lonelygirl15 and others on youtube, I'm sure she could do similar things.

Well, we've seen similar things done through MySpace and web broadcasts (even though Sandi Thom is supposedly full of cr@p!). I think some A&R dude somewhere should have their eye on her.

The only problem I see is that she's quite run of the mill and there's not much you could class as different or unique about her.

She has a lovely voice. I think she could do really well for herself, especially when a lot of people seem to know her already through youtube, judging by her videos and the number of comments she has received. If she finds the right people to guide her, hopefully she will be given the credit and success she deserves.

Sorry i just watched her Mariah Carey one and though she was lyrically weak on a few long notes. But then again i have been listening to Leona and her long notes so maybe my standards have increased.

She's certainly got the looks.

My favourite video is her version of Beyoncé's Irreplacable or Ne-yo's So Sick.

I love it when dutch people speak english! Can normally tell dutch people straight away from there accent both when there singing and talking but shes good!

Yeah, I noticed her a while back! Funny how you brought that up - just a few days ago I was checking out some of her old stuff, then realised that she's now becoming really famous! I think she's been to America and Sweden to write stuff/ record. I'm really pleased for her, because she's so talented and never had anywhere to showcase her talent! And I think she's having an album out soon which a lot of people will buy.

Yeah, I remember watching her videos a while back, last year I think, and just being blown away. She's been recording with Justin Timberlake too now.
