What makes you like Anne?

As a contestant on this show.

Zilch,nothing,sod all :nono:

Niamh. 27-11-2018 05:08 PM

I wouldn't say I love her on the show, tbh I was hoping she'd be a bit more "governess" I feel bad for her though, she seems to be struggling with it all. I think it's nice how the other Camp mates look out for her

Matthew. 27-11-2018 05:11 PM

She’s sweet and likeable. Was going to say she’s an “underdog” but i don’t know if that’s the correct phrase :worry:

Do you mean babysit her, next thing they will be spoon feeding the lazy cow :joker:

I'd love to see her lose about 12 stone. Awesome.

She could lose around 4 in the jungle, IF she stays the course.

RileyH 27-11-2018 05:59 PM

Chuff doesn't like her

Who are you? Chuff's publicist?

Kym Marsh declined to comment.

The threads about why you like her, if you don't like her then what's the point in just posting hate here.

rusticgal 27-11-2018 06:23 PM

I don't dislike her...but I don't think she should be in the jungle. Every challenge is a challenge to everyone not just Anne. The other challenges in this programme are dealing with jungle life and teamwork. Anne does nothing around camp..everyone looks after her. If I had seen her make an effort..I would have more respect for her...but she's happy to watch others do it all for her. If you can go to the creek to swim and wash..you can go to the creek to wash up. If you can hold a fork and eat from the container..why can't you hold a cloth and clean a container?...I don't get it.

She's brave and raising awareness, very rootable

Epic. 27-11-2018 06:31 PM

Earnestly funny, self-aware, down to earth, intelligent, relatable, and full of hope and improvement in an environment any autistic person (myself included) would find difficult

All that's really missing is that she should be shown more

The viewing figures would dip dramatically if they did.

Lovely, genuine, down to earth, brave, clever and hilarious.

Lovely...to whom? Herself only so far.

Genuine...how do we know, has she shown or said anything worthy of judging this?

Down to earth..fair enough.

Brave, I will give you that, it takes a lot of courage to do this without having aspergers, an can only imagine her angst in the days building up to this.

Clever...depends on the subject..but probably the cleverest one.

Hilarious...No.:nono:

This for me too.
She's disappointed me really.

Alf 27-11-2018 07:51 PM

She's a victim and I'm better and more able than her, which is why I like her.

What you talking about? I'm sticking up for her, because it makes me a good righteous person to stand for people who are beneath me.

She did well tonight...but she was guided and the stars were ridiculously visible...but her achievement obviously gave her a boost. However...when she chatted with the girls later in the programme she said that she doesn't usually bond with girls the way she does with men due to her autism... That's not an autism thing surely...some women naturally prefer the company of men than women...this is where I am sceptical that things she doesn't like or want to do is blamed on her condition.

Well it could mean any number of things, one of which being having autism might make her self conscious/less confident around other women etc.

Twosugars 27-11-2018 11:26 PM

or it could mean she doesn't do emotions, only facts
men don't do emotions among themselves so she feels comfier with men

But that can apply to most women and likewise men...nothing to do with autism.

But Rusti you have to admit with her condition she probably takes longer to feel relaxed around people and fit in . It's a known trait that autistic people struggle in some social situations  .
