Bird Box

Let’s discuss!

I enjoyed it but it’s defintely overrated, felt a bit like watching AHS with the amount of plot holes

Beastie 27-12-2018 09:57 PM

The ending was meh.

Amy Jade 27-12-2018 10:10 PM

I liked it and Sandra Bullock was great and I don't need to see the creatures of course but it was frustrating in the end not knowing what was going on.

I also never understood why some people straight up killed themselves and others were crazy either but I did enjoy it a lot.

Headie 27-12-2018 10:15 PM

I enjoyed it, it had my full attention unlike most films I watch.

Although I wanted to know how the Doctor managed to survive and make the sanctuary, it felt kinda random her being there at the end and instantly remembering Malorie after 5+ years :skull:

The Twitter memes are the best thing to come from this film tho <3

The creatures just used some people to convince the ones hiding to look.

I wouldn't say it's overrated but I also wouldn't compare it to AHS.

AHS at its worst isn't even entertaining, but pure sh*t. This movie was ok for the genre.

Tom4784 27-12-2018 10:59 PM

I enjoyed it but it was a bit overly long, I thought.

Marsh. 27-12-2018 11:11 PM

I expected pregnant women to be the only ones immune or something when Olympia first arrived.

I loved it, it had a few plot holes but they really weren't that bad. The ending was super cute, though it would have been good to find out more about the creatures.

Morgan. 28-12-2018 09:44 AM

I've heard mixed things about this, but definitely wantto give this a watch for Bullock/Paulson/MGK and what seems like a fairly interesting story

armand.kay 28-12-2018 01:04 PM

I enjoyed it it was a cute lil movie I feel like people were expecting too much from it

armand.kay 28-12-2018 01:12 PM

also i really don't care about not seeing the creatures because it didn't seem like the movie was about that, it was never set up as a movie about finding out what they are so it never felt like the ending would explain this

Samm 28-12-2018 01:20 PM

I really enjoyed it, I read a interesting theory that the creatures are visuals of the darkest forms of the universe, humans who are not mentally ill can’t handle seeing this, so this results in the suicides, however for those humans who are mentally ill they think it’s “beautiful”, I like this idea the best in terms of what the creatures are

Josy 29-12-2018 08:13 PM

Watched it last night, twas good although I wanted to see more of what they see and maybe an explanation of what it was

I never honestly understood quite why though, was it a subconscious thing or just random?

Because it felt a bit strange to me that say the woman at the start who helps Malorie, why not have her convince others to look? Or why pick the random dude in the woods fishing to spread the word and to who?

Well I think it's just mentally ill people who were more susceptible to being "used" or see beauty in what they saw.

Morgan. 30-12-2018 07:02 PM

I just watched it and actually really enjoyed it :clap1:

A scream though, me and my mam had just got to the hospital bit at the start and she just goes 'I wish this scene would end, Sandra Bullock just looks like Michael Jackson' :skull:

Yeah... I thought that was obvious. If you were deranged enough... you didn't want to kill yourself when you saw it... you just wanted to be apart of it... share it... kind of like Jehovah's Witnesses.. going door to door to spread the news

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 02-01-2019 11:11 PM
