[PETA sparks outrage by barbecuing fake dog to promote veganism
The canine prop was being cooked over a banner stating:
"If you wouldn't eat a dog, why eat a lamb? Go vegan!"]

The Photo
is a burnt fake dog

[Children who saw the fake dog were said to be 'visibly upset'. ]

Typical of Down Under PETA.

And Lamb's are farmed for our Dinner
In our nation Dogs are our pets

Bad form to put that somewhere kids can see it. I mean I get their message but it's really not appropriate to hang it in a shopping centre

Twosugars 24-01-2019 12:26 PM

well they simply point out our hypocrisy in treatment of animals

This comment uummm I don't think so

Twosugars 24-01-2019 12:28 PM

How is that an answer to what he posted? It is hypocritical to say it's not OK to kill one type of animal but it is for another

armand.kay 24-01-2019 01:16 PM

No one has to say anything, why are you obsessed with finding a person who said this as if it somehow proves your point? ................it's still hypocritical to say it's wrong to eat one but Ok to eat another

Jordan. 24-01-2019 01:30 PM

Mess, I don't think this is outrageous though it's pretty valid (although I'm still gonna ignore it :omgno:)

well if no one has said anything I cant see how you claim its hypocritical

you have to have someone or some statement that says "ALL animals MUST be treated equally"!

no one has ever said that so its not hypocrisy its just that animals are not treated equally like every living thing on earth

You really are obsessed with finding a guy who said something

Nope, no one has to say anything for it to be hypocritical to think eating one animal is fine but it's morally wrong to eat another.

user104658 24-01-2019 01:46 PM

Meh. I'd eat a dog if it was farmed to be eaten, just as I wouldn't eat a lamb if it was my (or anyone else's) pet. It is hypocrisy to be OK with one but not the other, I just don't like the assumption that "I wouldn't eat a dog!!". Don't tell me what I would and wouldn't eat :hmph:.

I wasn't telling you what you would or wouldn't eat. I was saying pretty much what you did there

Niamh. 24-01-2019 01:54 PM

Sorry you were replying to the OP not my post, I think

Well speaking of PETA,I saw a video today that was most upsetting and this is real animals with feelings that feel pain , watch that video and tell me it doesn't make you cringe ? Peta does do a lot of good work for animals hopefully this one will be highlighted , and this isn't for meat either, I notice the people that do this have their faces pixelated out ,not seen a video this vile for ages. just how low can humans sink?
