2009 and it isn’t even close.

Around 2009 was like a peak point in music, particularly in rap for me, but I actually think music these days (since like start of 2018, maybe even 2017) has been at its best in yeeeeears though :clap1:

And from that top 10 in 2019, #2-#9 are literally all traaash besides Wow. :skull: (and that song isn't that good either)

Except current music ain't that bad really. Like 2013-2015 was an AWFUL stretch in music for me... where songs like Happy, We Can't Stop, Blurred Lines, All About That Bass, etc. were dominating the music industry. And not much good (or mainstream-good anyway) in rap.

It's taken a step back up (although now we do have stuff like Dancing With A Stranger & Sunflower :skull:)

I barely listen to the current music tbh. In fact, I'd say 2015-16 were the last years I was fully invested in music. With the exception of a few good songs, 2017-19 has mostly been crap for me.

And I guess there was still some really good music at that time too (2013-2015) but I remember a lot of the top mainstream stuff that I hated the most and *puke*

2009 was a better time in life and music in general so that...

Plus I really doubt the songs charting in the 2019 Top 10 will be remembered that much. Party In The USA is still well known today and imo is Miley's biggest hit...
