IF we had another referendum how would you vote?

To stay or leave the EU?

I would vote stay same as last time.

joeysteele 07-06-2019 11:53 AM

I would still vote remain.
I make no apologies for being a committed EU supporter.

For me, uniting not separating is the way to be, and go forward on.

Smithy 07-06-2019 11:55 AM

Wonder how long it’ll take before someone to moan about people treading the same ground

Liam- 07-06-2019 11:58 AM

Originally I voted leave, but now I’m conflicted, I still believe in leaving, but I don’t want to give Farage and his merry band of bigots what they want

Jordan. 07-06-2019 11:59 AM

Didn't vote :omgno: I would vote remain.

Twosugars 07-06-2019 12:03 PM

I believe in Europe, the best continent in the world. We have so much going for us together

Cherie 07-06-2019 12:06 PM

Remain, and remain again. #BetterTogether

Northern Monkey 07-06-2019 12:16 PM

Wouldn’t vote unless the result of the first referendum had been seen through first.

MTVN 07-06-2019 12:17 PM

I voted Remain in 2016 but I think to overturn the result before it's even been implemented would be terrible for the social fabric of this country and leave so many people feeling angry and betrayed, most would never trust the political system again and it would never be the end of it, those divisions would last for years and years

Just which part of the current social fabric of the country would you say is intact, out of interest?

But we're still dealing with the referendum aftermath and the problems now are as a result of delaying Brexit. If you actually reverse it then it'll be ten times worse. If the result could actually be implemented then politicians will have delivered on the referendum and as a country we can move on, that's not going to happen if people want to continuously rerun 2016 till they get the result they want. If we leave and then ten years later we decide we're worse off and want to reapply for EU membership then fine but I expect that once we're out and it's a few years behind us then most people will realise that actually the EU is not really that great an institution and being in it is not the be all and end all. Staying in the EU does nothing to resolve the issues that pushed people to voting Leave in the first place

Tom4784 07-06-2019 12:41 PM

Remain, I no longer really care about the result but a remain win would derail the Brexit party and end their push to power before Farage can try to push his anti-NHS views into practice.

Smithy 07-06-2019 12:45 PM

Nicky voting :skull:

Denver 07-06-2019 12:45 PM

I would still vote out as I believe the EU is poison

EU is poison but being Trump's bitch is a good thing? I don't understand that train of thought at all. If we wanted to, we could have tried to effect change in the EU when we were members but that's not the case now and somehow lodging ourselves in Trump's sizable arse is better? When he has already threatened the NHS?

EU is the opposite of poison, it's a wonderful joint project bringing Europe together

exactly, that's why Juncker and everyone in EC (european commission) have been working hard to solve the problems in Hungary (giving them several warnings) and also the brexit crisis in UK is annoying to them a lot

The thing is,The EU don’t want to change to suit it members,Only what serves itself as an institution.
A part of the vote to leave was due to Cameron going over to try and get change and coming back with next to nothing.
A mistake on their part.

But given that the choices are Trump or the EU, which one are we more likely to have an effect on? We could have kept trying with the EU but we'll never be anything other than Trump's bitch.

Didn't this week teach you anything? It was quite clear that Trump was the Queens bitch. He was in absolute awe of her. Being the Queens bitch makes him our bitch.
