Do you still use a bar of soap in the bath or shower.

If so, what kind.

We usually use shower gel in the shower but we do use soap for baths usually Dove.

I haven't used soap for about 25yrs, I use sanex shower gel as shampoo too and St Ives face scrub.

Amy Jade 12-08-2019 08:25 AM

I use clinique clear skin soap. It's a must have for me, cleared my skin right up as a teen.

Use shower gel otherwise, whatever is on offer in asda.

Kate! 12-08-2019 08:44 AM

Shower gel. And Tresemme shampoo.

Niamh. 12-08-2019 09:00 AM

Shower gel aswell, soap gets all mushy and horrible

Cherie 12-08-2019 09:04 AM

gel, don't like soap and who knows where the bar has been if other family members use it :hehe:

Oliver_W 12-08-2019 09:12 AM

I'm trying to cut down on plastics, so I try to avoid shower gel and stuff. But I put my soap in net thing, so the lather can come through but nothing much gets on the soap itself :)

I will basically use whatever is kicking around but last week there was nothing and I ended up using "Unicorn Magic" Carex hand soap as shower gel .

I smelled lovely tbh.

I always tease my niece by saying "he's a nice rhinoceros!" whenever she has a pink unicorn toy or teddy <3

Beso 12-08-2019 09:26 AM

Yes...like oliver I just use plain soap...because I care about the planet...

Withano 12-08-2019 09:30 AM

I haven’t seen a bar of soap anywhere for like 10 years :suspect:

The Slim Reaper 12-08-2019 09:31 AM

AnnieK 12-08-2019 09:33 AM

I use simple soap and shower gel.....don't feel clean if I've not used soap too

Vicky. 12-08-2019 09:48 AM

I don't use soap as it seems to bring me out in spots..and pretty much always has done. Not sure if its something that happens to others or not but I swear, as a teen when I switche to showergels and that, my spots almost disappeared totally. So nope. Kids have never used soap at home..might have done on hands at school, not sure if they still have them or not.

That unicorn handsoap stuff TS posted, is a staple of my bathroom. I have like 8 things of it on my shelf in the bedroom..because kids have a ****ing horrific habit of just suirting it all over the ****ing bathroom floor..cant seem to get it out of them and its not a realistic option to just..have nothing to wash hands in there. Same with loo roll. They either stuff the full thing in the loo or unravel it all over. But no solution I can think of as basically..again..cannot just have none in there or it too high for the kids to reach D: So instead I spend like 20/30 quid a week on replacing the **** they waste

Alf 12-08-2019 11:26 AM

I'm just dirty.

I sweat until my clothes come off

The Slim Reaper 12-08-2019 11:37 AM

Alf I wanna make you sweat. Sweat till you can't sweat no more.

Have you tried just giving them enough toilet roll when they need to go so they're not stuffing excess amounts down there? Sounds a nightmare though

Yeah but we had breakdowns as apparently, after a wee, you need at least half a roll instead of a few pieces  and this was literally everytime the loo was used, so many times per day..

Its an ongoing saga thats lasted 2 years now.

Also, if they have no loo roll of squirty soap..they just use water to flood the bathroom D: So, its preferable for them to mess it up a bit. Hope they grown out of it soon though, kind of driving me insane!

LaLaLand 12-08-2019 12:34 PM

Never have, always shower gel!

Beso 12-08-2019 02:38 PM

So everyone bumping the gummage abut saving the planet...Can't even stick to soap, they would rather buy a plastic bottle filled with stuff they don't need..

Josy 12-08-2019 04:02 PM

No. Germ spreading disgusting things.

Tony Montana 12-08-2019 04:04 PM

Only shower gel for me.
