Muslim men should face extra security checks at airports to prevent terrorist attacks
Says the boss of Ryan Air
https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2020/02...37_634x437.jpg He stated 'that is where the threat is coming from'. Mr O'Leary said terrorists 'will generally be males of a Muslim persuasion' - and that families with young children should be let through security as they are less likely to 'blow' people up. The 58-year-old added that the only way to 'deal with the threat' was to vet 'single male' Muslims travelling on their own. Mr O'Leary had told The Times: 'Who are the bombers? They are going to be single males travelling on their own. 'If you are travelling with a family of kids, on you go; the chances you are going to blow them all up is zero.' He added: 'You can't say stuff, because it's racism, but it will generally be males of a Muslim persuasion. Thirty years ago it was the Irish. 'If that is where the threat is coming from, deal with the threat.' https://images.outlookindia.com/publ...30_630_630.jpg https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2020/02...2328242253.jpg https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...nair-boss.html All the top rated comments on the DM site see this sensible but naturally labour dont like it and muslims dont either |
I would add white men to that as most likely to be far right terrorists :)
|
Surely everyone should be checked, how does singling out certain people help .
I've heard of all kinds of backgrounds smuggling stuff they shouldn't |
What a moron
|
|
Racial profiling doesn't work, this is just pandering to the Brexit crowd.

Ryanair :joker:
|
I thought Ryanair went bust?
|
Wow. It’s fool-proof. No more terrorism ever again?
|
If they're coming from anywhere beyond Turkey? Yeah, do it.
Most of the time otherwise? Don't be stupid. |
The Irish CEO
has now said Sorry for his comments. |

Passengers are profiled from the moment they buy a ticket. There really isn't the need for extensive security checks on anyone but those that get highlighted in the profiling. That is the reality of the situation

repeating what i have said once again in here
''not all muslims are terrorists'' poor innocent muslims get discriminated because of idiotic statements like this |

Heard of dangerous people being on the FBI watch list and still being allowed to walk the streets and blow up innocent people. |
****ing vile the direction the world is going in
|
I went to watch a rugby game at Wembley stadium, and I had to be searched before I got in. I should have cried racism.
Not every rugby fan is a terrorist. |
Like all the folk in this thread dont check out other passengers and if one is a young muslim looking guy start to worry
lol, sure you dont... |
Stupid thing to say but I get where he is coming from with regard to families and speeding up airport security, he also drew the comparison with how Irish males were treated during the IRA terror campaign where is the outrage for that? just the usual anti Irish sentiment ‘ha ha I thought they went bust’ etc

His words are controversial but it has to be said in a sensitive area that is a target for terrorism there has to be some profiling. |
