What careers has it relaunched in recent years?

He didn’t need his career relaunching he was on one of the most watched shows in the UK, this is about cash which is fair enough

Emily Atack for one.

Liam- 11-04-2020 03:40 PM

Ashley Roberts got a really big career boost from it

She only had a few presenting jobs just like the ones before her but they end up drying up .

No they haven't. She has another tour this year. All of it a lot more than the nothing she was doing after Inbetweeners.

The problem is long standing career after it, as soon as the next commercial friendly campmates appears they all get the attention and the o es before drop off.

Vicky, Toff, Scarlett just to name a few were dropped quickly abr now have nothing happening

Marsh. 11-04-2020 03:47 PM

Well, nobody mentioned long standing careers. Of which can't be measured yet anyway.

Better than fading into obscurity straight away

Milk your year and then move on

But with AJ he claims to have left Strictly to become the next big name presenter, IAC isnt the show and I think only Joel Dommett in recent years have managed to host a prime time show

Scarlett got a lot of TV work from it (rumoured to be a millionaire), Joel’s career hZ been catapulted since, Adam has got a few things, Sam Quek has become more of. as familiar face on tv than what she was, Jordan Banjo got the dancing on ice gig (which then led to various more hosting gigs), Iain Lee has done a lot more TV, Toff did too. (And to some extent Stanley for a while, but recent events have secured that)

Harry Redknapp has carved a media career out of it, Atack has done 2 big selling tours and made herself a bigger name rather than a largely forgotten name, John Barrowman (whilst not being off tv much) has relaunched his career in the UK too, Fleur has been making a lot more tv appearances (and the takeaway gig from Scarlett).

Jacqueline Jossa has supposedly got a few offers from it, Roman Kemp got the New Years Eve gig, the show with his dad and I suspect will be hosting more mainstream tv, Garraway has a new tv show coming out with Myles (who incidentally is never out of the papers for some injury these days), Caitlyn got two tour dates and more tv appearances out of it.

Hope you enjoyed my ted talk x

As if Adams scalp wasn’t already sore enough

Half of them wont have long mainstream careers though that's my point but I cant believe I forgot Jordan Legend did it,he is a saturday night icon

Denver 11-04-2020 04:42 PM

But I'm certain he left because of Oti outshining him and getting all the TV work he was desperate for

It makes sense.

AJ wants to be the start of Strictly but Oti is

He tried to get his brother on strictly for years but failed yet Oti gers her sister and husband onto the show.

He wants to do alot of other big shows out of strictly but was left to children's TV while Oti hosted Sports relief, judged TGD and Did Gogglebox amongst other stuff

Even so, it’s a good move, although he is clearly not gonna get many gigs that aren’t ITV daytime related, I think if anything it’ll be a dancing show with Curtis on CBBC or something

Vicky was just a runner up on Masterchef and is filming a show for TLC. Scarlett was a host at Crufts. Just because you arent aware doesn't mean they arent working.
