I've known a few people to be anti-immigration only to emigrate to Europe while still holding those same views. Stupidity, hypocrisy, racism and white privilege rolled into one hideous package.

I recall a neighbour who moved to Spain and I remember her saying often that she would just stick to the 'english' areas rather than learn the language and she was the kind of woman to yell at people to speak english 'because they were in England' if she heard them speak any other language.

Ultimately, these kind of people only have an issue with non-white immigrants (outside of Eastern europeans, obviously). Pure racism.
