Miscarriage agony for Jade

Quote:

TELLY star Jade Goody has been left “absolutely devastated” after having a miscarriage, it emerged last night.

The mum of two was just under 12 weeks pregnant when she lost the baby she was expecting with boyfriend Jack Tweed.

It was the latest in a string of blows for Big Brother celeb Jade, 26, who has suffered a troubled few months in her professional and private life.

She managed to put on a brave face this week when she passed her driving test and went to court to see a former childminder convicted of stealing £12,000 from her.

Jade was ecstatic earlier this year when she discovered she and 19-year-old Jack were going to be parents.

She told The Sun at the time: “I’m thrilled. Jack is over the moon too, but it has come as a bit of a shock. We are still telling friends and family.”

Last night a source said: “Now she is absolutely devastated. The pregnancy came as a surprise, though she and Jack were looking forward to the baby after a very tough few months.

“She was taken to hospital and told there was nothing the doctors could do. It was very early days still.”

Jack had been dismissed as only a short-term love for motormouth Jade and has previously been caught playing away by The Sun.

They have had a notoriously rocky romance but have now been together two years and are tipped to get engaged.

The couple — who live with Jade’s two sons Bobby, four, and Freddy, two, by her ex Jeff Brazier — have just bought a £1million house near Stansted, Essex.

However earlier this month Jade was forced to flee a hotel at 4am as her boyfriend wrecked their room during a boozy rampage, running up a £3,000 bill.

News of the miscarriage comes after Jade’s career was badly hit by the Celebrity Big Brother race row involving Shilpa Shetty.

And late last year the star made an emergency dash to hospital in Harlow, Essex, for tests after agonising pains sparked fears for her health.

On Tuesday this week she passed her driving test in King’s Lynn, Norfolk — although she has to face charges of allegedly driving without a full licence and insurance.

And on Wednesday she saw childminder Luke Rustem, 29, plead guilty to fleecing her by stealing nine cheques. After the case at Chelmsford Crown Court, Essex, she branded Rustem “a scumbag”.

I don't like her but she doesn't deserve to have that happen 2 her.

Red Moon 22-06-2007 07:33 AM

Poor girl that is horrible for her. I hope she has someone to talk to that can help her come to terms with what has happened to her.

Yes, that does sound like a nice considerate statement.

Calling someone one moment and then saying something nice the next. I have witnessed many who are like that in real life and even the digital world.

It's a sad day in the world of "Hidden Insincerity"

I do feel for "Jade (Good)y" and she is strong and has had to deal with many problems and has done that, but this is another one on top of it all.

But anyone who doesn't wish to hide their real feelings or choose not to be so politically correct, will probably type something in nasty and may make fun of her current situation.

But, in this situation, it is probably doubtful & there are no surprises there.

My mum has told me I would have had another sister but felt she had miscarried soon after marrying my dad. Its a sad thing to happen but Jade still has plenty of time, Im sure her kids will soon have another little brother or sister to play with. If your reading this All the best Jade!

~Kizwiz~ 22-06-2007 10:34 AM

This is a horrid thing to have to go through. I would never wish this on anyone.

Poor Jade

Nicola 22-06-2007 11:04 AM

That must be terrible for her to have to go through, I really feel for Jade, Jack and her family after all they've been through with the Celebrity Big Brother stuff.

The miscarriage was predicted a while ago - wonder if those people are able to see the future or just not willing to believe anything that comes fron, the spin machine.

People are killed everyday, women have miscariages everyday - sad but true, personally I find the timing suspect, watch it get brought up in court.

If Goody told me the sky was up I'd ask for a second opinion

Kristen 22-06-2007 11:11 AM

spacebandit I have you on ignore so I don't have to read your cold hearted response.
I felt sick when I heard this topic. Jade was so happy about this baby and a miscarriage is an awful thing. All my love goes out to her.
LOVE YOU JADE xxx

My first wife had a miscarriage and I'm only too aware of the pain it causes a woman to go through such an ordeal. Given my experience and the fact it was one of the factors that put so much pressure on us that the marriage failed I can assure you my concerns for her emotional state are anything but false over his matter.

Finally, I'm hurt and insulted by your statement.

Taijitu 22-06-2007 11:31 AM

With all respect would it please be possible to keep arguments off this thread. Hopefully Jade and anyone conected to her will get some happyness out of the fact someone cared enough to open the thread and others have shown their support as Im sure most of us feel (sorry if I sound like Im trying to lay down the law, its not intended that way).

First of all I'm sure after Nick reads your second statement he will see your point of view.
However you have said some nasty things about Jade and even had an anti-Jade banner recently (6 months after the race row I might add) saying something like 'I am not a bully it was the editing.' This annoyed me because unlike Danielle and Jo, Jade was mature enough to take it on the chin and not blame other things.

Unlike two cold-hearted gentlemen who I have on ignore you have showed sympathy and respect and therefore I admire you greatly for that.

Matt 22-06-2007 11:59 AM

Whilst I'm not ruling out the possibility of tabloid spin, this is the first time I've kinda felt a weensy bit of sympathy for Jade. I hope she pulls through alright.

Billy 22-06-2007 12:55 PM

Space Bandit that was quite un needed.I hope Jade and Jack pull through this okay

GiRTh 22-06-2007 01:21 PM

I think the some of the reactions to Spacebandits posts are a bit over the top. I feel about Jade's miscarriage the same way I feel about Bernard Manning's death. Total indifference. It's a tragedy but I don't care. Sorry.

My concerns lie with those who single out Jade Goody in regards to the CBB5 race furore.

I look at Emily's situation and look at Ofcom's concerns and every other part of the word "Unfairness" + other stuff I won't mention which is known by a select few.

I can understand that the unfortunate situation regarding Jade Goody's baby is a tragic true story and I apologise if that part of my first post has offended Red Moon or Kizwiz. But that is the only part I am apologetic about. As that is the only thing which you have pointed out and I shaln't need to point anything else out.

What Kristen has pointed out, I shall have to echo (I'm afraid) not only because she is a friend of mine and a great and sincere member of this forum, it is because it is correct.

In regards to the "Spacebandit", (How long will the hate-mongering continue within 99% of his posts?)

Maybe the person who voted him as (best poster) can enjoy his above post as I personally find it sickening:yuk:

I think I am NOT alone on that score:mad:

I feel horrible for her but then, having been pregnant (fortunately never having had a miscarriage) changes the way you feel about these things and anyone who doesn't feel for her even a bit, I hope it never happens to you because you won't appreciate people not caring then (*touch wood*)... Poor Jade.
