I never really thought about it too deeply but I would have thought having intercourse is sleeping with each other not that I wouldn't class kissing or other stuff as cheating

cheating can take many forms, physical or emotional

To me, "Sleeping together" is hooking up basically. Blowjob/handjob included because I know some people who don't consider them as a sexual intercourse.
I would say kissing is "making out"? I have kissed a lot of people but didn't end up sleeping with all of them, so not a sexual intercourse to me.

I didn't mean I thought it meant cheating, I was just clarifying that just because I think sleeping together means intercourse that's not to say i would consider anything else not cheating, if you know what I mean? I was imaging a scenario of someone saying "we didn't even sleep together" as a defense of why they didn't cheat and those thoughts appeared in my post :laugh:

I personally would consider it a euphemism for "full intercourse".

When it comes to "cheating" different people have different definitions and different ideas on what is "the worst kind". For example, my wife doesn't mind my emotional affair with LT but his partners haven't been as understanding :worry:.
