I think the only conclusion we must make is he was only Knighted because he knows things Johnson and Co wouldn't want the public to know.

Williamson is as much use as a chocolate kettle. The fact he is now known as a Sir for basicalling messing up every job he's had and being a complete ****, just makes me sick that an idiot like him has been rewarded for failure.

Let's hope this time it's really good riddance to him for good.

It's just a pity he hasn't taken the extreme Braverman with him.

Sunak however SHOULD have seen this coming and also should never have appointed him again.
Nor procrastinated and set out to hide for a time behind any investigations into him.

The general feeling/theory is that Gavin, former chief whip, has so much monumental dirt on the party and individuals within it and thus keeps reappearing and being appointed this and that despite being completely incapable just to keep him happy and more importantly, quiet.

He was probably allowed to resign before being sacked (impossible to stay on now that this has come to light), and possibly for the above reasons.
