New Planet, Far Away has life, LP 890-9 b

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LP_890-9

We need to send a 10 year old Lad
up there
he could 50 years on arrival.

He will have Weapons
and Computers Educating him
year by year.
On his long Journey to the new planet
that can be named Earth 2.

On Arrival
he can take full control
and send a message back to us.

The Slim Reaper 09-09-2022 11:13 AM

I think you'll find this planet already has a queen that was seated yesterday. :fist:

No one has got that far in space yet.
This is why a young lad
is ideal

Crimson Dynamo 09-09-2022 11:15 AM

send an army of young lads and we can destroy it in case it gets an army of say Klingons and then we are f-kd

Would it not be a good idea to send a young girl with him?

What if 40 years alone on a spaceship sends him completely loopy? What if he gets an incurable disease 5 years into the journey?

He would be our world's hero
And become the Leader
on Earth 2

We'll need some backups.

No, it is all worked out.

He would be happy
learning as he gets through space

Perhaps. But I'd rather send 100 young people. :smug:

By the Time he arrives
we would have faster space ships
to reach Earth 2.

Our New 2nd Planet

The Slim Reaper 09-09-2022 11:23 AM

We evolved a symbiotic relationship with our bacterias and microorganisms, but this lad with an immune system that is given nothing to do for 40 years will rock up on a new planet and be cool

Niamh. 09-09-2022 11:24 AM

Grab some 10 year old from an orphanage somewhere and send them out into space :eyes:

arista 09-09-2022 11:25 AM

Yes, its Sun is closer
but it is smaller,
to our new planet

MTVN 09-09-2022 11:25 AM

Seems like it might be a bit hot there, the lad will need his factor 50

the best fit 10 year old lad
goes.

No, it is not too hot
or to cold.

That is due to a smaller Sun

bots 09-09-2022 11:29 AM

50 years on a space ship with no gravity and all that will be left is a spindly body with a big head and a brain. He isn't going to be much use when he gets there
