❌👎🏿Should Holly Willoughby be Cancelled👎🏿❌

Seeing on TikTok so many people call for her to be fired.

Just as many love her and want her to stay ..

The fact is if she is as unpopular as you suggest then the producers will discard her

I think she will be there for many years to come though

She's done nothing to need a second chance for though? You're tarring her with the same brush as Phillip, and said in another thread that her morals are as bad as his. Unsubstantiated rubbish. She's not cheated on her partner and lived a lie for years on end like he did. I'm sure there's more to come about him as well. He's a jealous bitter man.

Innocent until proven guilty imo.

joeysteele 23-05-2023 07:13 AM

Not bothered about the Schofield issues as to her.

I just don't think she's a good presenter.
She comes across false and at times ignorant.

Plus her voice can grate on people too.
Even moreso on Dancing on Ice.
She's really chronic on that show too.

So really this was a good opportunity to clear both her and Schofield off the show.
Sorry but her Miss Sweetness act doesn't impress me at all.

UserSince2005 23-05-2023 07:15 AM

In my opinion even if she hadn’t done anything wrong, which she has, a captain should go down with their ship.
She can’t continue to host pretending everything that happened never happened and she is completely naive.

People really want her gone.

It will be interesting to see if she can save herself

UserSince2005 23-05-2023 07:16 AM

Also is it now confirmed that she lied to everyone when she said she had the shingles the other week?

I think she can be a bit ‘dizzy’ but I don’t see any of your criticisms in her at all ..

I certainly don’t think her ‘sweetness’ as an act … she’s just genuinely nice .. that’s why she’s been so well liked for many ,many years ..

Really sorry but I disagree.
I find her ignorant and false
Always have.

She's even worse on Dancing on Ice.
She along with Schofield spoil that programme too for me.

I just found them both to be a more ignorant type pairing.
So no, sorry I don't like her at all as a presenter.
I think she's an extremely poor one.
Plays on her looks not any real talent

user104658 23-05-2023 08:52 AM

Her career no, not really here for seeing a successful lady taken down alongside an (allegedly :hee: ) noncey bloke with an ego.

However in terms of This Morning yes. Too much baggage and the best thing for both her and the show would most likely be a clean slate. There's always going to be an "Elephant In The Room" if she's paired with someone else.

Don't really like either option, what has she done that requires a second chance? I like Holly

Ask the majority of people who find her insufferable.

Lets not pretend shes a little angel whos done nothing wrong.

She aided and abetted Phil.
She knew all about his reasons for having to come out.
And now shes pretending to be completely shocked and unaware.
Shes a queue pusher.
They said they were journalists filming a this morning segment how ever no footage was ever released but a little camera phone vid of the two of them afterwards.
Shes a liar
Says she has shingles to the world. when really she was just planning her backstabbing.
She is bad news. She has to go.
I'm okay with her going on I'm a celebrity in a couple of years time to try and get redemption, I dont think she should be cancelled for ever, just this morning.

Niamh. 23-05-2023 09:07 AM

aided and abetted Phil? :laugh2:

joeysteele 23-05-2023 09:11 AM

I've just never liked her really.
On the times I did watch This Morning it was more like viewers were intruding once she was on the programme..
They both came across more ignorant to me.

Then when they both went on Dancing on Ice.
That was awful, she screeches like a banshee on that and her voice and his hysterics spoils DOI for me.

Cancelled from This Morning a definite yes from me.
Then again the programme has for me had its day anyhow.

I would though welcome both her and Schofield gone from Dancing on Ice too.
I do watch that and they spoil it for me, and Holly Willoughby with her voice spoils it much more for me.

Gusto Brunt 23-05-2023 09:19 AM

Holly has always been way overrated, just like Schofield.

Holly was always eye candy for those middle-aged long term unemployed guys. Certainly Vaseline sales went up.

bots 23-05-2023 09:22 AM

i don't watch anything she is on

thesheriff443 23-05-2023 09:39 AM

I think her and others like her, men and women should not been in these jobs for years
Give others a chance to shine and earn good money.

I think it's likely that she's sat on some things for a while for self-preservation but not anything criminal, and tbqfh anyone who claims they've never turned a blind eye to things they don't agree with is in my opinion just lying. People have a tendency to hold celebrities to a standard that isn't particularly realistic.

Again though I do think in terms of This Morning specifically, they'll always be quite firmly "linked" ... which is my only reason for feeling like she should professionally move on.

That said, if she can overcome that, I think Holly and Dermot would make a great pairing, especially as they've presented together before and known each other for a long time. They could bring back "Presentiators".

She isn't responsible for Philip (unless like you say it was actual knowledge of criminal behaviour)

I actually liked her paired with Dec that time Ant was on his "break" from IAC (not that Ant & Dec will be breaking up anytime soon of course)

I have often thought that Dec could work in a pairing with someone else ... but Ant without Dec would be rubbish. He's been carried for 3 decades by that man

Interesting I never really thought about it like that, I can't actually imagine Ant with someone else either

i think it's quite funny that a tiny % of the population actually watch "this morning" on a regular basis and yet there are such strong feelings against either or both of them.

Gary Glitter, Jimmy Saville and Rolf Harris, I can understand it, but the maximum offence that Holly partook in was queue jumping at the queens lying in state

And I'm not a fan of queue jumping in normal situations but those queues were ridiculous, I guarantee 90% of those complaining would have taken the fast track as well if they were offered it :hehe:

They bounce well off each other and the appeal is how close they are I think, which makes them a great duo, but as standalone entities I reckon Dec has like 80% of their charisma :joker:.

To be fair the Schofield stuff is extremely murky and I wouldn't be surprised at all if there's a lot more to it / "proper scandal stuff" lurking at the core. I definitely agree that Holly shouldn't be tarred with his brush though purely for the crime of proximity. As you say, look at how many people were in close proximity to Saville. I find it very unlikely that she was aware of the depth of it all. I suspect she's become aware recently, hence all of the drama.
