…(..I feel…)…that shows really well with Olivia, how much she does listen and takes things on board…?….she was really listening intently there and absorbing what Jordan was saying…she’s not someone who just reacts as some of that group have been…

I wonder if Jordan shared with Yinrun that he didn't stand up for her at all

He was outnumbered. He actually picked Matty.
Yinrun didn't stand up for Jordan as well. She couldn't care less that he was "evicted".

I think they really have something special. Hope they don't mess it up.

I think Jordan agreed with the childlike behaviour…the difference being Jordan accepts that that is ‘just Yinrun’ and how she is…which is what he said to her. Unlike Jenkin and Tom who found it fake…he knows they are entitled to their opinion and their bitterness towards Yinrun did them no favours..there was nothing to defend…it’s one opinion against another.
Jordan played it right…he also had to share that small space with two people he had no connection with…just go with the flow.
In fact the fact he didn’t fall into the trap of jumping in defending his friends and just accepting their opinions would have been a major factor in Tom and Jenkins turn around on him…

Remember Jordan had them both ( especially Tom) in his ear ..

So they were both slagging her off relentlessly for two days and giving him endless examples why he shouldn’t trust her

Quite right. Jordan has his own opinions and there's no way he would let someone else influence him. He accepted their point of view, but he makes up his own mind.

Perfect time for a lawyer to say ... well I take on board your views, but lets agree to disagree....no aggro....but still putting himself firmly in Yinruns corner ....but he didn't...he just sat on the fence

In this case in glad he did.
No one wants to upset Yinrun in there. She seems quite an emotional person.

I think she will be more upset when she learns he just let the other 2 speak ill of her? She wasn't there, so she couldn't have been upset by anything that was said, she will see it eventually though. Jordan could have gone back and said I stuck up for you but he couldn't because he didn't

I think he accepts that she can be childish, it's just the way she is. But he knows there's more to her than that.

Tbf they just said they thought she put it on some of the time….he is not stupid enough to realise how that behaviour could be seen that way. It’s their opinion and he told Yinrun….I don’t think Yinrun would expect Jordan to try and change their minds…or argue the point. She has a friend in Jordan and that’s all she cares about.

i love how everyone is tying themselves in knots to justify and excuse jordan of anything and everything and then go on to call olivia everything under the sun for the slightest thing that might annoy them

A true friend would have stood up for her, he didnt stand up for her as he had already more or less said the same thing to Trish himself, so he stayed stum as he knew that would make him look better ...but I suppose at least he wasnt a hypocrite, tbh I dont know why he felt the need to tell Yinrun that so interested to see how it plays out tonight ....I dont care if Jordan wins, they all deserve it now in their own way

But aren’t the others ( and you to a lesser extent) behaving exactly the same with Olivia who’s barely defensible if we’re being completely honest

I have a theory that he’s never really been convinced about Yinrun.. maybe as he’s never met anyone like her .
