Poison Ali breaks the rules again..GET HER OUT.
When Head of House Khaled is called into the Diary Room to nominate, speaking to Dean and Martha, Ali says, “I would be honest if I felt there was people I really genuinely wanted to nominate; the person I wanna nominate I can’t nominate, so… cause I’ve made myself really vulnerable to being nominated.”

 |
I'd like her to be put up fo eviction, but that's partly because I think she'd survive and I want to see the fallout from that.

Keep her in. We want drama and she will bring it!

Interesting - especially the second paragraph :::: Egocentrism, or an extreme focus on the self, is a defining characteristic of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). However, some research suggests that the perception of ego-centeredness in people with autism may be due to the way others perceive their behavior, rather than an actual reflection of their internal state: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
Zizu this hyper fixation on autism as a get out of jail free card for everything she does is kind of exhausting lol
Come to that the fact that you didn't mind @Kate!'s perception of Ali as a game player because she spun it in a positive light https://www.thisisbigbrother.com/for...6&postcount=12 and it gets kind of hard to take your opinion on Ali particularly seriously. |

If you check more carefully you will see that I haven’t liked everything Ali has said or done , I’ve admitted a few times that she could have handled things better/differently. Thing is you cant criticise Ali for her every move / action whilst ignoring her condition . Just because it is invisible doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. The get out of jail card as you CHOOSE to call are scientifically accepted Autistic traits. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

All people are perfectly capable of being people. And people have been known to do all kinds of things in this life. I don't hold any kind of a bias towards Ali being diagnosed, but just the same, I don't expect her to meet some kind of standard. If anything, she's created her own set of high standards for herself, but it's not matching up with her behavior in the house for me. Edit: I think I'm going blind mentally |

It’s also interesting , even telling , that you call me out yet not a word against someone like Beco who continues to post baseless nonsense, attacking Ali every ten minutes or so Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
It still doesn't change the fact that we should treat people the way we want to be treated. It's OK if Ali's perceptions are a bit screwy in some sense, but she's purported to be a psychologist, so she's not just "being typically Autistic", she's also working her way around the house offering up her analysis of different people and ostensibly using those perceptions to maneuver her way through House conflicts. She is actively choosing to use the "ego" she has carefully crafted around her Psychology background to justify her actions within the house. Anyone else would be called out for those tendencies as being a sh..stirrer. That decision has nothing to do with being Autistic.
Lily, if we're being honest, is closer to the example of someone who is behaving in an "egotistic" manner (see: her Diary Room rants), but actually that's more likely to be down to the fact that her socials are a bit "off". I'm not convinced that is intentional behavior on her part, but rather, she is much more likely to get worked up in that manner because that's how she tackles how she perceives things across the house. But that's also why I prefer Lily in this case. If she's under some umbrella, she's not running around the house holding it up over her head and running into others with it. Lily genuinely just wants to be Lily. She's a good example of someone who is not a typical person one meets in life, but if one can get away with any preconceived notions or biases they've crafted about others, they can probably learn a great deal from her in terms of the not so apparent, but clearly palpable, differences between individuals. I'm not saying she is everyone's cup of tea or a "misunderstood soul"... she's just Lily. |
