Just announced.

Thank God.....although who will sort us out will have a huge job on their hands

Cherie 28-10-2024 10:56 AM

yaaassssssssssssssssssss Ruud is coming

bots 28-10-2024 10:59 AM

it was inevitable

I'm honestly surprised this has taken so long for this to come about.
It's good he's gone but I hope they get someone who not only has a better plan but who can inspire the team too.
Because they are looking demoralised.

bots 28-10-2024 11:02 AM

Southgate in?

Black Dagger 28-10-2024 12:31 PM

Sadness. I thought he was doing a brilliant job.

ThomasC 28-10-2024 01:03 PM

Blame the manager, it's an easy cop out

Nicky91 28-10-2024 01:09 PM

Roger Schmidt is available ;)

Crimson Dynamo 28-10-2024 01:47 PM

Nagelsmann is harder to get, than for example Roger Schmidt, whom got decent results in his career so far (at Red Bull Salzburg, PSV Eindhoven and more recently at Benfica) first german to win the portuguese primeira liga too

Schmidt did good here in Eindhoven with the material he had (i mean working with the likes of Andre Ramalho is a handicap on its own lol)

they can get anyone if they pay for it, but united are skint, it cost them 17 million to sack TH. My money would be on Potter or Southgate

Both would be a terrible mistake

GiRTh 28-10-2024 04:35 PM

Potter or Southgate would be brilliant.

Zizu 28-10-2024 04:50 PM

Southgate would be interesting .

I think he should have won the last two or three international competitions with the talent at his disposal so pretty sure he would struggle with this United squad

They need to get Amorin now if they want him, can't have another wasted few months under an interim manager

most successful united manager in over 10 years

GiRTh 28-10-2024 08:20 PM

Amorin is a good shout. I think he turned Liverpool down not the other way round. Every one was after him a year ago and, if he implements his style, would do well at United.

On the other hand, its united  and up to 50% of that squad need to be looked at and difficult decisions need to be made about them. I'm talking Rashford, Bruno to start with and we'll take it from there

GiRTh 28-10-2024 08:24 PM

I want to post that Mourinho rant on football heritage again. The one where he says "Where they play, how they play, IF they play". I posted it too many times though. The next Man Utd need to able to get rid of big players, but who is a big enough name to do it
