top 5 actors in terms of who you find most funny?
for me personally
1. Steve Martin (his sense of humour has always remained the same levels of genuine classic comedy, quite a diverse talent he is as well, from CBTD films to playing Inspector Clouseau on Pink Panther or nowadays in OMITB as well as his parody of MJ song Billie Jean or his original song King Tut) 2. Bryan Cranston (while breaking bad isn't exactly my cup of tea, Bryan on the other hand, i absolutely LOVE watching him, especially in Malcolm in the Middle, his sense of humour is so quirky, wacky and so iconic) 3. Phill Lewis (shame after his DUI incident he isn't doing much acting work anymore nowadays but Marion Moseby in suite life is one of my all time fave sitcom characters, high up there with John Cleese's Basil Fawlty tbh, that type of comedy is soooo my cup of tea) 4. John Cleese (Basil is the GOAT in Fawlty Towers, and **** Cancel Culture since he really slayed hard in that role, i also liked him in Bond as the new Q in the world is not enough, die another day) 5. Robert De Niro (especially in Meet the Parents, Meet the Fockers he is the king of comedy! that chemistry he had with the likes of Dustin Hoffman, Barbra Streisand in the latter of the two  also YOU TALKIN TO ME is one of the most epic one liners from him) |
I don’t even find the majority of comedians funny sooooo funny actors is a struggle
Ryan Reynolds Jim Carey |
In no order
Jim Carrey Robin Williams David Schwimmer Rowan Atkinson Owen Wilson |
Robin Williams is a given but sadly no longer with us

I do love Steve Martin.. but i’d say Jason Bateman when he does a comedy

Wild wild takes |
I can't pin point many because as some have said those that are marketed as funny generally make me cringe like Will Ferrel, Kevin hart.
However those that do crack me up are those that are not intentionally funny. Mel Gibson in Lethal Weapon cracks me up. It's one of my favourite films but he's just so damn dramatic in it it cracks me up. His zero fooks attitude when helping the suicidal guy and his arguments with Danny Glover crack me up. When he cries over his dead wife and tries to off himself it's meant to be a sentimental moment but it just cracks me up how he delivered that because it's so extra. I know it wasn't meant to be a funny moment though :joker: |

However I will fight anyone who says he isn't brilliant in both Anchorman and Zoolander. Mugatu is an icon. |
i hate Ferell with a passion, so much so that i stopped watching the usa office the moment he appeared on it. I don't believe there are really any funny actors, it's all in the script they are using. Having met John Cleese personally for example, he is a really miserable, unfunny bugger
Standup comedians that are popular tend to have a team behind them, writing the jokes. All they do is recite the script with good comic timing. Take Franky Boyle or Billy Connelly who tend to write their owns stuff. they can be occasionally hilarious, but more often than not, completely unfunny |

Also if you stopped there it means you missed out on James Spader's "Robert California" who IMHO is the highlight of the final "post-Carell" seasons of the US office. Effortlessly funny. |

Also Vince Vaughn. How did he get into Hollywood. He was only funny when he was shouting at his mum in Mr and Mrs Smith |
