You HAVE to buy Britney\'s new album!

You have to buy BLACKOUT which is the new album by Britney!

I got it at HMV today and I haven't been able to stop listening to it. My favourite song on it is 'Piece Of Me'.

If you're a Britney fan you should definetely buy it and if you don't like Britney buy it because it will give her more press attention which could push her off the edge (even though I like Britney and would never want this to happen.)

I know I sound like a walking advert for Britney but you all have to buy it because it's AMAZING!

MarkWaldorf 09-11-2007 03:51 PM

I LOVE it too! I bought it a few weeks ago. It's such an amazing album.

Wasted 09-11-2007 04:05 PM

I'll download it and if I like it enough I'll actually buy it.

Arneldo 09-11-2007 04:39 PM

I heard most of the songs on it, and I personally think it's all hype. It's pretty rubbish IMO.

People have been waiting for this for a long type, its been so hyped - she could have sung a bunch of nursery rhymes and people would still say it was amazing.

Stu 09-11-2007 04:41 PM

Buy. Lol.

001steven 09-11-2007 11:01 PM

yeah Blackout is the Best Album of 2007 imo and Best Comebakc album EVERYONE in the Media thought Britney would flop...BUT hey she has Not flopped at all she has made which some people say the best album of her carrrer

Captain.Remy 10-11-2007 06:52 AM

Actually we should buy it in order to satisfy producer's expectations. Except on iTunes, her album isn't first anywhere, it'sl ike 3rd or 5th....but not 1st as the producers predicted.

Not after reviews like this:

I rather liked the comment by one reviewer who compared her to a blow-up sex doll.

So far, she had some good critics and it's a good thing for her.

Well if the press story is to be believed I quoted then it is the producers that should be getting all the credit for those reviews and not the singer.

As for buying the CD to give her more press coverage I don't think she needs it. There are loads of stories in the press like this one.

K-Fed against Britney driving sons
Kevin Federline does not want ex-wife Britney Spears behind the wheel when their two sons are in her car, a US court heard.

A court commissioner also told the custody hearing that he wants the pop star to respond faster when a drug lab calls her to set up appointments for testing.

"We're asking that she personally shouldn't be the driver of the children," to protect their safety, Federline's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, told Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon at the end of the custody hearing.

Gordon ruled he was not going to make any modifications to existing custody orders except to emphasise that a drug testing lab must be able to reach Spears at a single telephone number.

Kaplan's request to stop Spears driving the children will be discussed at a November 26 hearing, Kaplan said following a meeting in the commissioner's chambers after the open hearing. Spears was represented in the meeting by attorney Anne Kiley.

Spears, 25, and Federline, 29, were not present at the hearing.

This isn't the first time Spears' driving has caused her problems.

In 2006, she was photographed driving with now two-year-old son Sean Preston on her lap, and authorities visited her home to investigate.

Last month, she pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanour charge of driving without a valid driver's licence.

She has since obtained a temporary California licence. A misdemeanour hit-and-run charge from an August car park crash was dismissed after she paid an undisclosed amount to the car's owner.

The songs are great and Britney is a true star.
I really couldn't care about all the fake media stories that are out there.
She's surrounded by the press everyday and if unfortunately a scapegoat of the media

xDramatick 10-11-2007 08:53 AM

I've heard most of the songs on it, and i ain't too keen on it =/
-avoids shots-

I like a few of the tracks, which I already have, so I ain't gonna buy it.

Then again, I dislike Britney [always have, nothing new], her voice [though some of her songs are good], and think this album could, and should have been, MUCH better.

Well she must have done something wrong to become the scapegoat of the media. The stories this year have included:
  • breakup of her second marriage
  • the shaved head affair
  • attacking a paparazzo's car with an umbrella
  • being described as a "habitual drug user" by a judge
  • being accussed of being a lesbian
  • being lambasted for a shambolic comeback performance at the MTV music awards
  • losing full temporary custody of her children
  • releasing an album that has more to do with the talent of the back room boys and girls with thier computers than her ability to sing.
And the year is not over yet!

cujo-man 10-11-2007 09:13 AM

Do I?!

Because the last time I heard there is a thing called freedom of choice!

aj2463 10-11-2007 04:18 PM

Britney has the best album of 2007, no doubt about it!!

Conor 10-11-2007 04:21 PM

I've gone of Britney. I really don't like her anymore. So I guess I wont be buying her new album.

Not from what I have heard. I wouldn't even say it ranks in the top 10 of the year. There is loads of good music which isn't so heavily processed in post production for a start.

Matt08 10-11-2007 04:31 PM

I'm suprised her record label hasn't dropped her yet.

Wasted 10-11-2007 04:41 PM

I've listened to it now, and it's quite boring. All the songs sound really similar, and aren't great. A few of the tracks are OK and that's it really.

I've never been a fan of Britney's music though, but even so she has had much better songs than this in the past.

001steven 10-11-2007 06:35 PM

No this is the Best album of 2007 i love EVERY song on the album and that is very rare for....... she has produced the best album of 2007 if then Best Comeback album this year the reviers that Sl*g her off are the ones that write bad reviews about her. Britney will be around for a long time yet

Seriously. She needs to be dropped. I really hate Britney now.

The record company won't like one of their artists having bad press because they might be worried about getting that bad press aswell. Hopefully Britney will get what's coming to her, no kids and no record deal.

That's quite rude. You'd wish that a woman should lose her kids - despite how she's perceived as a mother? Wow.

She has had some serious issues. Haven't we all had rough times in the past?
And the fact the press follow her 24/7 probably doesn't help as well.
