Robbie about to rejoin Take That?
Robbie about to rejoin Take That? For years he's been the missing link in Take That but now Robbie Williams could be set to rejoin the band he famously ditched, according to his mum. The singer, 33, dramatically split from the group in 1995 after falling out with his bandmates. The Take That party ended soon after but last year Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald reformed. Robbie refused to rejoin but that could all be about to change, said his mother Jan. "On the question of him doing something with them, I feel that will happen. It would be something he wanted to do," she told the London Lite. "I'm thrilled that out of all the negative stuff that happened, there's now something great happening. Take That were excellent when they were all together and they are excellent now." Her comments came after Jason Orange said last month that a reunion with Robbie was "inevitable". http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s...YSHON/10-6.jpg Since leaving the band, Robbie has enjoyed success as a solo star but recently his fortunes have taken a turn for the worst. His last album Rudebox was a flop and this week he had to apologise to the band's ex-manager over allegations he made about him in a song. Meanwhile, the reformed Take That have gone from strength-to-strength, with two No. 1 singles and a chart-topping album. Original article here |
I'll believe it when I see it.
I still remember his diva like performance on the reunion show. |
I doubt it will happen. I love Robbie but he is a brat and will want it all to be his way, even though the guys are doing awesome without him.

Looking at your avvy. I take it you are a Robbie fan Chewy?
|
They are doing great without him and it just reeks of desperation on his behalf if it is true he wants to get back with them.

I do like Robbie, mainly because I really enjoyed his songs at one point. But rejoining Take That at the peak of his solo career and joining now are two different things; one shows his loyalty to the band and the willingness to make a fresh start, whilst the other seems to be purely for selfish reasons based on his situation at the moment. His arrogance got to him, unfortunately, and either way the Take That boys are doing really well for themselves at the moment. It would've been better if the five of them started off from the beginning, rather than making things awkward now.

I like Robbie as a solo artist, I have all his albums and went to see him in Leeds last year. He is fantastic live artist but I just think it would be a mistake for them to get back together.

Some of Rudebox was good, but admittedly it was rushed and a bit rubbish, and Robbie is fine now.

Forgot to mention, he has finally found himself a woman too
