Valentines day
 

Got my wife some lovely earings, 'diamonds and gold'. I will get some chocolates and a dozen roses this week to top it all off. Oh the card as well, mustnt forget that gosh 10 DAYS LEFT!!! Any member here spending a fortune on the one you love :love:

I will be in England, it makes me quite sad but we will celebrate it on the 13th.

Im sure she will be very happy, except '13' being an unlucky for some number :spin2: I hope it is lucky for you two. I forgot to also say that Im taking her out for a meal, but she doesnt know yet. Last minute job :wink:

I hope so. Ive booked the table in advance and they increase the prices on Valentines day, talk about exploitation huh. Hazards in the UK. I guess a romantic evening in Paris might be cheaper if it wasnt for the eurostar cost from Waterloo to Paris in a very quick time I might add.

Paris is very very expensive, like Marseille where I live but well, I don't mind money, it worthy after all, it's for my girlfriend.
And I hate Paris by the way lol

I wasnt sure about the cost of Paris but as it is meant to be the most romantic of destinations in the world I pretty much thought it may be dear. Why dont you like Paris, too busy perhaps or are you sick of seeing the Eiffel tower :laugh:

It is very romantice but very expensive and very budy for Valentines day.
Paris is a beautiful city but I don't like the atmosphere and Marseille & Paris are always in "war", we hate each other. And the Eiffel tower is full of Japanese people: the day a french guy will go in there, it will be like a miracle lol (I have nothing against Japanese people)

'Marseille and Paris' war, I can hardly picture that :puzzled: I guess its to do with the way people live. So the Japs invade Paris and shoot up to the top of the tower with their Japanese made digi cameras :laugh::laugh: funny thought.

The war can be physically like during Football even between Marseille and Paris. The french Of Com decided not to show them on TV due to the fights between the 2 clans. Many people died in those fights. Those are big riots. It was just an exemple but it's everywhere.

Yes even in Southern France ! They are everywhere loool But they are fun with their masks (pollution) and their cameras.

Well you learn something new everyday so we say in England. I just thought France was France and nomatter where you went it was just one happy place, well nowhere is like that lol :wink: Anyway, no point thinking negative thoughts. Valentines is on the way and love is in the air :lovedup:

Well My Boyfriend Who I've Been With For 14 Years Now Always Buys Me A Few Roses And He Gets Me A Necklace Or Bracelet With Our Names On It Plus We Go To A Resterant For A Good Meal Which I Love :laugh2:

And this year 'he buys you a big teddy and a backgammon game and takes you to a rock concert'

I really don't remember what I did when I was single for Valentines day loool

I'm having a meal with my boyfriend, going for a few drinks etc. I told him not to get me anything (and he agreed vice versa), because I hate gifts on valentines but he has!! Cos I had to pick up my post from his and there was a package delivery notification!
So I'm going to rush-buy him something haha.
