Random Compliment From Strangers
 

Ever receive one?

Being hit on by a stranger at a club doesn't count. I mean, random people on the street, just stopping you to compliment you on something.

I was walking by GAP and this blonde girl starts to stare and I'm thinking "looks familiar, did I see her on Friday?". She says something to me, but I can't hear so I take my headphones out and she repeats, "I like your hair, it's really cool".

I had someone stop me while I was shopping saying "OMG! You have such lovely teeth - are they insured?!"

I just smiled to show them off and said no!

not me as such but i always get stopped by randoms to tell me my daughter is beautiful with gorgeous colour hair

I'm always complimenting peoples outfits,but just to my friends,I hope they don't hear me!

I get told by random people my hair is nice and stuff..

I just smile and wander off lol x

ive had - ''excuse me, how tall are you ? , you should join the police BOY ! '' from older people before when im shopping, and im just like ''yeah thats nice'' (smile and nod) LOL

and ive had '' are you brittish ? , you look so tanned ! '' which i quess is a compliment, but its really annoying -.-

I've had lots of "aww, isn't he nice doing the shopping for his mam?" a lot of times (one randomer even gave me a £2 coin for it, lmao). No real compliments though :tongue:

This man the other day come up to me and i had a summer dress on and he was like 'You have a fantastic shape .. fantastic shape' and i was just like 'erm.. thankyou' and then he kept looking back. And i often get isnt she a lovley girl. And another time somebody just came up to me and said happy bday to me when i was holding a bday prezzy bag. But im not sure if that counts as a compliment. x

a nice man said how pretty my little cute legs were once at a concert many years ago, he even gave me a lollipop and asked me back stage awwwwwwww, I often wonder what ever happened to that Gary glitter guy now:laugh3:

and in the corner of my eye i see a flock of people waving paper and pens at me

Omg you lucky! I always do the shopping with my mum and I never get any compliments!

I actually can't think of any complient I've ever got off a stranger,well besides people at the TT concerts calling me 'dedicated',that was nice.

Theres alot of perves in Brixton and one time i was walking down the road and this 30 looking year old man come up to me and asked me for my number so i said no and then he asked me why and i just said because. Im not rude but i was a bit scared. So he was like whats your name so i said Tina and then he said he wanted to take me to west end for a drink and stuff so i was thinking omg is this man serious. And then i carried on walking and he said will you and i said no again and he asked me why and i said because im a 15 year old girl!! and then he said it didnt matter so i crossed over to get more harassment from the local butchers :bawling: x

I don't get complimented so much, but do random men in cars screaming and shouting and following me about count? I suppose they do shout complements, but it's quite difficult to hear. The other day I was severely hungover and dressed like a tramp, and a group of guys slowed down to walking pace and followed me until they got to the lights. SO embarassing

Loool i know i do. If you read my other story i was soo scared. He was like a really big man and he was just following me down the road :sad: Ill call ya to come and fight them off haha x

I know! This is what its like in South London.. Brixton :bawling: Im not even suprised anymore. I get random people talking to me and all sorts lol x

Haha, I get that when I'm running( in shorts). I'm either thinking "Do I know you?" cos I'm almost always wearing my headphones so all I hear is something muffled. But I can see them poking their heads out the window trying to say something.

I think it's a nice thing to get a random compliment. I might just start doing it to others.
