and alex is now the favourite to win...

everyone knew ruth wasnt all that popular with the public out of who is left.

its quite simple really. none of the others have a cat in hells chance of winning the x factor. they know talent when they see it. it shall just be a case of sour grapes from their part. i dont think second or third or even fourth place is that bad. a non-winner can still reap the rewards that the winner does. even if it is not a xmas number one.

First of all, I dont think Halleluiah will be the winners single, and i dont think Diana is favourited, tbh Im starting to think she will not be in the final 2. Alex is now fave to win too.

And what talent does Diana have?

I think we should discard all favourites really, Heck around this time last year the odds were neck and neck between Rhydian and Same Difference and we all knew what happened there.

Regardless of the fact if they win or not I can definately see both Alex and diana getting major contracts anyway.

good question. diana has a very different sort of voice. it is the type of vocal which stands out above the rest of the them. im in no way saying she is fantastic. im merely saying that compared to past winners and indeed this years finalists she has more than enough to win this years series. also she is quite pretty too. that helps. and not a past jailbird either. glad that one left. rachel.

But some people find that voice very annoying and what she does with her left hand is distracting. And you could have said some of that about the Riddler last year, he was different from the rest, but he didn't win. It's not always being different that wins you the X-Factor.

what ever she does with parts of her anatomy can be corrected. im sure its just a nervous habit. but that wont make any difference to the end result. some people shall find her voice annoying. but ask yourself this. why does she sail through every week? maybe those who do find her voice annoying are in the minority. i am convinced she will win despite what criticism i have read about. for what its worth. i hated rhydian. no way can you compare diana to that insipid showman. he only belongs in phantom of the opera.

But you can compare them, because they have one thing in common they are different from the run of the mill X-Factor contestant. It is not just being different that wins the show it takes more than that. That was the point I was making.

How do we know if she is still sailing through, I use to like her but I wouldn't vote for her now in a million years. As the show has gone on she has progressively got worse and worse. I would say she is the least improved of any of the acts that took part in last nights show.

If it her hand thing is nerves then she going to need to get them under control, because by final she going to a disaster waiting to happen.

people commenting on the hands is like judging a dancing competiton on singing .. just because she does it doesnt take away from her voice. and shes not even doing that hand thing anymore at least last week

rhydian is nothing like diana. rhydian was not any different to michael crawford. both are cabable of doing shows. that is his specific area, an area in which he can succeed. simon is looking for someone that can appeal to a wider audience. that is why rhydian lost. also he looks awful. if you choose not to vote for diana. then you shall be voting for the runner up. or below. diana will win. i assure you. unless the votes are fixed for a reason i dont understand. that would be very silly. you also say she has got worse and worse. i disagree. the song choices are down to the judges. that is not her fault. it also depends on what the theme is. last night was britney night. that was not her best choice of song nor artist. her second song was down to the judge. once again. not the best decision. once again not her fault. but despite all that. shes sailed through. i dont understand whats that wrong with her hand movements. you could say that about other artists. doesnt mean they are without talent.

Alexandra is going to win. One of Cheryl's acts was always going to win. Alexandra is the comeback kid who has given consistent performances and has really only emerged yesterday. As numbers drop, more will switch to Alexandra than anyone else, and when Alexandra and Diana are the final 2 the anti-Diana vote, along with Alexandra's fans, will ensure she wins.

If anyone notice on Saturday, Diana tried so hard not to do that hand thing, instead of making other people happy Diana should be saying 'up yours' to the dislikers and just doing what she wants! after all, she is the getting up on stage singing in front of millions! I would luv to see teh moaners and dislikers do that. I feel sorry for Diana, I think she has just lost it now, and I really think she should of gone last night, she is going to get a contract anyway.

but alexandra has nothing going for her. she can sing yes. but she doesnt have anything special to offer. not that i see. diana on the other hand is much different. but you wont believe me until she wins.

Alexandra is a performer and has upped her game week on week. Diana is the complete opposite. I liked her in bootcamp and judges houses but since then shes gone right downhill because she changed her style. Last night she went back to how she was and the spark has gone, and she is starting to wear very thin. She peaked far too early which has effectively cost her the title.

If that was really the case he wouldn't bother to have a choreographer as part of the show.

That's what needs to change, she's different from most singers unlike the other finalists who are just either average (Eoghan, JLS) or just similar to singers already out there (Alexandra)

She is different for the X-Factor, but there other singers out there that sound like her and are much better.

But at least she's better than 2/3 other acts

In something that is just slightly better than a popularity contest.
