A quite serious problem we may have with Michelle Heaton going in...
 

It has been rumoured that Michelle Heaton will be taking part in the new series... but I have just remembered and come across quite a significant issue that may stop her entering the house.

Michelle was diagnosed a few years ago with a 'life-threatening' heart problem and was told she would need a pacemaker asap but has been avoiding it as much as she can and even planned her own funeral at one stage...

Surely with all the possible issues of stress and negativity that come associated with the Big Brother experience, someone with such a "life-threatening" illness wouldn't be let in...

That was mid 2007, I dont think she is stupid enough not to get a pace maker... she will be fine.

Most likely yes, but that's not the point because if she fell ill or even died then C4 would be in the deepest **** ever and BB would never return. It is a stupid risk if C4 put her in.

I remember earlier this year she did a documentary on binge drinking which was supposed to run for 30 days, but they had to cut short at 21 days because she started having palpitations and pins and needles in her left arm (signs of a heart attack).

Yes, she does have a serious heart problem.

The speculation is whether or not she will be entering because of this or if at all.

But she seems a likely candidate...

Other than a dubious tabloid report there is no indication that she is going in, so this may not be an issue anyway.

Patrick Moore is in even dodgier health and he's been rumoured too.

Well why the hell has she not got a pace maker yet? She is in a great position where she can go private and get it done well.

No it isn't, she actually turned up to the premiere of the movie "Alien Autopsy" wearing a heart monitor attached to her dress.

She has done plenty of reality TV, including 'Failte Towers', I dont see why this should stop her doing CBB.

Are you sure thats a pacemaker and not some designer accessory?

If she is doing CBB then chances are she'll be alright for it and the doctor's have given her the go ahead I doubt Endemol would take such a big risk otherwise.

A pacemaker is something that you have put in your heart, not worn :hugesmile:

It's a heart monitor for sure, this was after she had blacked out with palpitations I think, just before they determined she needed treatment... which she has yet to agree to. Foolish, Edith Bowman is the same!

if shes going in shes only going in because like most of the people she goes out with are from big brother... chantelle, nikki, danielle lloyd..

she wouldnt be allowed on without extensive doctors etc checks plus they have someone on hand at all times in case of owt medical

She wasn't at risk of dying though and when Jade went in they didn't know the trouble she'd cause didn't they? Plus i think a 'death row' would be a bit more serious then a race row. Since this is the first CBB since the race row I doubt they'll want any serious controversy.

If Michelle Heaton goes in I'd bet a donkey that beforehand all sort of checks would be in place. I've doen about stuff liek this is Media there's all sorts of recconaisance and health and safety stuff they got to do.

as another poster mentioned she did failte towers on rte where i think it was 10 celebs had to run a hotel for like 2 weeks and at one point she was manager a lot of stress there i would imagine.
i hope she does bb because i think she was realy good in failte towers
