Jake! 22-01-2009 07:35 PM

Ninastar 22-01-2009 09:00 PM

30stone 22-01-2009 09:17 PM

If you are in bumper to bumper traffic much prefer a automatic. or if you are just casual driving.

Manual obviously for races or tiptronic.. If you want better perfoamance a manual will be better.

Ill be buying a manual because im 17 lol. but when ive grown out of the boy racer stuff and am just dirving to work ill buy an automatic.

(=

Ohh and my dad bet me that i will crash within 2 weeks of getting my car because i try to go to fast lol.

Oh I do have a proper license, but me + manual = major health hazard. god knows how I passed, I got about 12 minors :laugh2:

lily. 22-01-2009 09:20 PM

You won't be the worst out there on the roads...

Some of the asswipes round here musta bought their licence off ebay I reckon... they're unbelievable.

Wildcat! 22-01-2009 09:20 PM

Manual sucks in huge traffic. But I prefer manual, cause where I lived, there was not a lot of traffic, so the manual gets really boring.
But I dont drive in London anyways, the traffic is horrible, and you have to drive on the wrong side of the road, with the stick on your left! WTF is wrong with you brits?

i have taken lessons in manual but since then i dislocated my knee so now if/when i learn again will prob go for automatic cos the clutch would play havoc on my leg

LOL with a manual I wouldn't seem out of place in Spain :joker:

I have serious lack of concentration, not exactly ideal, and I hate driving mega slow, so I hate old people on the road. They should be banned and should be forced to take advantage of their bus pass!!

Who says you "grow out" of the boy racer stuff.. I'm still doing it..

30stone 22-01-2009 09:27 PM

I was wondering does anyone with a automatic left foot brake, as my dads had manual 3 years and still brakes with right foot and just rests the left.

but i was thinking if i had automatic id try it n see.

Also i like to se there has been about 3 posts about cars on tibb today... were getting somewhere at least.

Wildcat! 22-01-2009 09:31 PM

You should only use one foot on an automatic. Otherwise you might press them both at the same time.

Z 22-01-2009 09:32 PM

Manual - so satisfying.
