Halfwit in The Diary Room - Quite Arrogant
 

I watched the HL episode tonight.

I thought his answers to BB regarding how long he thought he'd survive were quite arrogant.

Saying he expected to last at least 6 weeks and probably more.

Pretty arrogant considering he's been up every week.

So he was thinking through all those weeks that he'd survive all the evictions and make it to week 6 minimum?

Sounds like he made a pact with all you 'fans' prior to the show starting. :thumbs:

He seems to be getting more and more boring, why is this? He was hardly a massive character to begin with, but was better than now. :bored:

Hes far from boring, hes a laugh and laughs with people that laugh at him. Why shouldnt he think he could survive? If any one had survived all those evictions, they would say the same. Hes not arrogant, hes just confident. :lovedup:

And when asked about it in hindsight by BB, he still expected to make it to week 6.

When asked by BB, in hindsight he still expected to reach week 6.

Having to survive 5 evictions didn't deflect this expectation. Even week to week, he was still thinking he had lots of mileage left.

And as he said, 'probably a lot more'.

The point I was making is Ahmedfan who is a Sree fan has a problem with Freddie saying this when Sree said exactly the same thing. Hypocritical? I think so.

And even if Sree thought it, it doesn't change anything on Halfwit's side.

This isn't a Sree vs Halfwit arrogance competition.

Ok I agree he is a bit TOO confident sometimes, but meh.... I can think of worse characteristics for a person to have.

Well its just at the end of week 5 so halfwit basically said he thinks he will surivive 1 more week in the house, it doesn't sound arrogant to me. I'm sure if BB asked all housemates weither they would still be in the house after next week im sure they would all say yes.

I don't think any1 in the house thinks that this is gunna be there last week, so does that make them all arrogant?

I think he's played the situation very well, but didn't orchestrate it. He realised he was an outsider who was disliked, so made sure he got the best deal of that scenario.

I wouldn't say he's arrogant per se, but is more arrogant than he often appears. Especially when involved in discussions and playing the victim role against Lisa's team.

But make no mistake, he knew he'd survive those evictions.

Yeah I agree it is quite interesting. At first, I was thinking he might be a mole with the level of confidence he has. No housemate (that I can think of anyway) has been as confident as he has been about surviving evictions.
