Sree rushed to hospital after slitting wrists

Hmm...

Probably seeing Siavash, who mocked and insulted him so much, with Noirin was the last draw for him.

ILoveTRW 28-07-2009 08:14 PM

WTF

Marc 28-07-2009 08:14 PM

Benjamin 28-07-2009 08:15 PM

That's terrible. He was great tv but he's obviously been too effected by it.

I hate the "Big Brother monitors the welfare, language and behaviour of housemates at all times and will continue to monitor this situation." line. I think it's a p-take completely.

They obviously don't. They keep them stuck in these situations where people are uncomfortable and they say they are and then send them back out.

When Rodrigo was upset and he wanted to talk (yes he is upset more than others, but it's still no excuse to ignore his needs) they just blanked him and wouldn't open the door. As he said, they only opened the door if they needed footage for the next day.

GypsyGoth 28-07-2009 08:21 PM

Poor guy.

HalfwitFTW 28-07-2009 08:23 PM

That's sad :(

Poor Sree

Tom 28-07-2009 08:23 PM

The Daily Mail will have a field day with that saying how BB can still ruin lives even though noone watches it anymore

Yes, I agree. This should never have happened. They have more of a responsibility then I think they want at this stage.... laziness on their part. He should have been monitored the whole time; even outside of the house. It was plainly obvious that he was a little on the edge from the way he was always appearing at the studio. You can't just wash your hands of people who've been exposed too so much pressure on a show that you've created.

HarryRag 28-07-2009 08:26 PM

two things:
1 Getting some pitty pussy
2 Trying to get Marcus Out

'Conor 28-07-2009 08:30 PM

These are ADULTS youre talking about. They need to be treated like ADULTS. The best thing in the house for Rodrigo is for BB to not open that door everytime. At this point I think the producers are tired of his s*** everytime something doesnt go his way hes in there crying about it.(Even if it is him who is wrong)

As for Sree it says he didnt really try to kill himself but who knows with him it may have been a cry for attention. After all he did make it to BBBM Fri. night after all this happened.

Marc 28-07-2009 08:39 PM

when they were playing with that kitchen glove, marcus hit it our because he didn't know his own strength its shocking

Marc 28-07-2009 08:40 PM

So are adults like military trained operative with the ability to cope in obscure and difficult surroundings with peak mental and physical fitness?

No. They have been employed by Big Brother under the insurance that their mental/psychological health will remain in tact. Big Brother can't determine when a housemate will struggle and when they will need to talk - therefore they open the door.

That's how you treat adults.

Saph 28-07-2009 08:42 PM

i dont think its true :nono:

Yeah but he's always at the shows, craving attention. Davina even admitted that half the time they don't even invite him. If these aren't the actions of a guy who's a little bit on the edge, I don't know what are. The producers have a responsibility when it concerns these contestants, both inside and outside of the house.

doive1231 28-07-2009 08:43 PM

Suppose this is all Noirin's fault beyond the House.

HellShark 28-07-2009 08:44 PM

Always knew he was a weak ******.

People who kill themselves often give warnings beforehand, so to say there was no suggestion of suicide is b.s. of the highest order, as the 'psychologists' on the show will be only too well aware

:elephant::dog:

Sunny_Tsu 28-07-2009 08:53 PM

Another contestant who was obviously mentally unstable yet they chucked him in regardless.

=-Incognito-= 28-07-2009 08:55 PM

Get Noirin out so Sree doesn't kill himself!!!! Do it now!

Marc 28-07-2009 08:55 PM

how comes he is still in his uni digs??

Mutteroo 28-07-2009 09:09 PM

I hope Sree is getting some good structured support and that's not just from those who understand this sort of behaviour, but also from his loved ones.
No one slits their wrists because of a game show. It's normally because there is an underlying psychological illness.
I agree that BB has a duty of care but so does the individual. If Sree is willing to address his issues, BB, may have been the start of Sree living happily with his life.
I wish him well.

If youre at work and someone calls you a name or does something that YOU deem disrespectful do you also run crying to your boss like Rodrigo? For all you know he was running back there to whine about how disrespectful Sophie is for farting in front of him or some other trivial BS that the producers dont really want or care to hear about. Rodrigo would spend all day whining in the diary room if he was allowed to and BB has figured it out. If he cant hack it he should leave then, its a tv game show not real life and I think you have also forgotten this.

Dolphin-and-Whale 28-07-2009 09:19 PM

Eh, we're discussing Sree here. What's with your crusade against Rodrigo? Should be in another thread.
