I don't know if anyone is up and about to answer this question, but I can't view the LF...which is really just killing me...no link....but Charlie and Rod had a terrible argument after the eviction and then again in the kitchen...Roddy went off to bed, but was looking sad and Charlie was sad and teary but up talking to bea/david/lisa ..ya ya ya...then when he finally went to bed ....the writing was ****, Charlie and Rod are friends again.....WTH happened? Would/Could someone fill in the story for me as I am sure only the arguments will make it's way onto the HL show

I hate it when they argue and thought they were moving on from that stage...

nothing else happened. they went to bed and charlie hid in david's bed to scare him(david). charlie and rodrigo talked and laughed after that for a few minutes and then went to bed. they didn't make up or anything, just started talking

I'm not a huge fan of house romances in general, but it would be nice to see the first proper same-sex romance in BB. So yeah, BB should set a task like the one they had in BB2 where they all have to go on dates with another HM, and see where it goes from there. :wink:

I am well aware of what topping and bottoming means in sex terms thank you. There has always been talk and speculation about relationships on BB, and there always will be. If you don't like threads on that and find it disgusting or crude then just avoid them.

The subject of the thread was made obvious in the title, and yet you still clicked it. I'm pretty sure the "top and bottom" thing was just added in as a laugh (hence the "LOL" thing afterwards). It's not as if people continued on from that to have a serious discussion on who really would be top or bottom. If you're not small minded, then you need to lighten up.

Ok, the title didn't indicate talk about the person's sexual perferences, usually it's just safe to assume there may be sex talk in threads about relationships. yep bb should push it they sem to be ignoring thier relationship on a fe livefeed im sure this has been spoke ab but camera been moved and nothing been shown on hl show. they have even been diary room together and apaz rodrigo in the dr admited sexual attraction no mention on hl show it really annoys me. more charigo!!

The subject of the thread in the title is ROMANCE, not bedroom action. It would be sweet if there were a romace, though Chrlie is so obviously still cut up about breaking up with his ex and dreams of getting back together. I think he IS attracted to Rodrigo and in the artifical environment where David or Freddie are the only alternatives, his mind is bound to stray to possibilities with Rodrigo. As he himself said last night to Bea, if he and Rodders did start to get closer and then his ex were brought into the house, it would be another Noirin, Issac, Siavash scenario, so he's not gonna be so cruel to Rodrigo as to let things develop too quickly. They clearly like each other and have a certain level of fancying too, but, please BB don't you dare **** with them!!! Let it happen if it is going to, in its own time (possibly 10 years from now). They can go out and visit Isaac and Noirin and the kids in America.

^^^The_Long_Run^^^.....I so agree with you...after Charlie's words about still loving his Ex. I could finally see now why there has been some reserve on his part as far as Rod has been concerned..not just because of their frequent arugments and reconciliations...I'm willing to step back and give them time to truly sort out if there is anything to that side of their friendship...and I hope Rodrigo does the same....for his sake(mentally and emotionally)....It would be terrible if at the end of this program or when they may be evicted, that they leave on bad terms and not friends at all.

Ok, NOW I 'm confused all over again. Rod joined in yesterday..he didn't isolate himself away from Charlie after those ugly comments...but he was still hurt and he was quieter than usual...first he is going to bed then Charlie just has to have some talk with him in the BR doorway wishing him Goodnight....then after Charlie stays up droning on and on with Bea and Marcus until about 3:30am...he goes directly to Rod's little twinbed and squeezes in for a bit of play, chat,and kiss....

I feel that Charlie, if he is still in love with his ex and would go back to him in a heartbeat...because he has mentioned it a few times......and Rodrigo would be very hurt...more hurt than he was the other day.

So, as much as I think they are the cutest couple around, I feel in their best interest they should leave each other alone...still be cordial and friendly to one another but cut out the hugs, kisses, sharing baths or showers and duvets in the garden, late night snuggles etc...I'm a little hard on them, but I think they want to come out of this experience with their hearts intact...due to the fact they keep denying any existence of a relationship developing despite the fact we can see one developing right before our eyes.

I feel strongly that I would like them to be friends when BB is all said and done, as I feel it's so important to have a friend who knows your experience and who can tell you the truth to your face when you need it and this is for sure what Rod does for Charlie regardless if he accepts/likes it or not:wink:

Agree:thumbs: it's a two way street as well, Charlie is a good friend to Rodrigo and tells him when he needs to be told. Rodrigo is still a newcomer to British culture and can sometimes believe something, even if it is not true. Charlie is more savvy.

And I think I am more harsh with Charlie, because he is savvy(no matter that he loves to wear the naive mask)---he already believes Roddy likes him "in that way" while he himself "only wants to be mates"...so Charlie, if you know this...why are you leading Rod on---which is what he is doing with all the displays of affection...Roddy is not an unsophisticated teenager, but I do think anyone can be confused by this behavior if they do indeed have stronger feelings--which I guess it goes without saying..I concur with Charlie's assessment of Rodrigo....but I do disagree that he himself only wants Rod as a "mate"---but honestly, I can be a little naive myself---so I could have it all wrong:laugh:

Nope, don't think you are wrong. Rodrigo and Charlie are both 21st century young gay men. I guess they both have their fair share of recreational sex (indeed Rodrigo has ben pretty open in implying this). Charlie, I think, is more of a romantic and wants emotional and affectionate engagement alongside carnal pleasure. He likes Rodrigo, and as I have said before, 10 years from now, they might make a lovely couple. I find it pretty difficult to believe when you see them together, that Rodrigo is the elder, and he would be a VERY high maintenance boyfriend in my opinion.

I think they are both great guys and, like you, I think a good solid friendship between them would be the best ouitcome for them from the BB house. The ups and downs might indeed be positive in buildig that, so long as BB has no nasty tricks up its sleeve for them. They both crave physical affection and there are increasingly strong signs of that, just hope neither of them gets hurt.

Rodrigo respond best to physical bridge building, rather than verbal, and Charlie hates feeling fallen out with. Careful Charlie, don't confuse him (or yourself),
