Maxwell's changed allready?
 

No sooner has the dust settled on Saskia's exit, and Maxwell deciding he should go back to who he was when he entered the house, he is sat up in the loft chatting away to the girls and having a really nice time. Funny how only two days ago he wouldnt give any of them the time of day if he could help it. So, was it that Saskia was a bad influence on him or has he wised up to the fact that if he didn't change his tactics he could face the boot next week?

I think he has wised up to the face that he could be out next week. I bet it worried him when he heard all the boos for Saskia - he probably thought that if she was unpopular, he might well be unpopular too (although I think the reality is that he is more poopular than her by quite a long way)! So I definitely think he has just decided to change his tactics - he pretty much said that he was going to do that, after she had gone.

I haven't watched any live coverage since thursday so haven't seen anythin with Saskia gone yet.

It wouldn't surprise me at all to see if he has changed,well it would change really wouldn't it?It was inevitable.
I felt sorry for him though when she left and he had his Diary Room chat,bless him.:blush:

Great to see Max talking with the others either way, he said to Craig that he actually like's Makosi and he didn't think she was that bitchy..craigs face was a picture,..

I felt sad for him too as he really does like Saskia. I know on BBLB today she told Dermot how much she liked him and that she wanted to meet up with him without cameras around, so I hope she isnt just saying that. She did seem honest about her feelings but whose to know. Max was talking in the loft to the girls and was saying that even if he did stay in until the last week then it was only six weeks to go until he saw her again. It is just a shame that he only has two days till nominations ( even less now ) but I have this strange feeling that it may not be him up this week or if it is, he may well have a couple of others up with him so he may escape Friday

i hope so..Max is slowly returning to form,he's a quality guy ..

Me too! That is the real Maxwell I think! He was too taken by Saskia so he changed when he was with her! Yes he misses her and rightly so but for selfish reasons I'm glad he's going back to his old ways!

I still think Maxwell is Big Brothers fave! I think he's been shown in a far better light than Makosi but that's just what I think It's amazing how differently we all see each housemate and I like that. How boring would it be if we all liked the same people!

Im glad hes going back to the way he was when he first came into the house, i bet when you get to know him hes a nice bloke, even Makosi and Vanessa were saying that the other night.

just because maxwell has been up for eviction, and makosi hs been given tasks, doesnt mean she is their favourite

all this attention will only damage her, and with maxwell, help him

unlesss maxwell really screws up, he's going to win...and every1 will then complain saying how he was their chosen one etc etc

i think your wrong amy, im constantly on the big brother website and most of the stories try and make maxwell look boring, as they try and make makosi's group entertaining... :bored:

i also see the 10pm show like this mostly.

I think Makosi and Vanessa have always liked him I just think they disliked Saskia as she was someone who prefered the blokes to the women which caused the girls to dislike her as she was centre of their attention.

Max has to go back to how he was..he has to communicate with the others and start been like his oldself

What do u expect him to do? You'd critise him if he moped around pineing after Saskia for being boring. He has taken the right course of action.

time will tell - Lets hope that now the pressure is off we will see more of the Maxwell of the early days when he entertained us with his quick wit and sarcastic come backs without being angry all of the time. :dance::dance:

I don't makosi is universally loved you just have to look at the virtual nominations to see that.

Once Maxwell is back to his old self it would be a very close contest between him and Makosi in a public vote.

I have been impressed that Maxwell showed he had emotions in tonight's and last nights show. It's nice to see more of him than aggressive side that has been on display more recently.

I have to agree. I'm not a fan of Maxwell but on tonight's (Sunday's) highlights show, he was trying to cheer Craig up when Craig was so upset, and when he and Craig were talking about Saskia at the end of the show, he had genuine tears in his eyes. I do believe that we will see a better side of Maxwell now that Saskia has gone. He seemed more aggressive before. Also, although I did think that he might be up for eviction this week, I actually think he might escape it now. (I feel that Craig will almost certainly be up, and either Makosi or Orlaith, as Kemal and Vanessa did not seem too impressed by their behaviour).

i have started to really like maxwell now.

im happy people are seeing the fun side of Max now..Saskia going was the best thing that could of happened to him, he's such a great guy who's very entertaining

they are editing whats just happening in the house.

if they had good footage of any other housemates they would show it... but they havnt. hes doing the most entertaining.. get over it :thumbs:

This happens every year someone seems to be edited to win. Maxwell has had a lot of bad editing as well as good editing. On the whole now I think things are balanced out, at the moment.

But is being shown 24/7 a blessing?

We have seen a lot of the living room over the last few weeks.... but did it do Queen Saskia and Co any good. She has gone after all. By putting a single person or group on screen, be it on the live feed or the highlights you are making them the focus of the house and the public vote on eviction night which can have a negative effect in terms of the public vote.+

What interesting is that those who are in the background are doing rather well. A good example of this is Derek who is now placed in the odds to make the final week.

Just a thought.

I really enjoyed seeing a glimpse of what Maxwell was like last night - he was so kind to Craig when he was upset about Ant. I did notice that for some reason though he doesnt not like Orlaigh at all - he kept saying to her where you going for your holidays so I can avoid it. I dontk now if he has been given orders by Saskia to be mean to her but he is!!!! :dazzler:

Maybe he sees her true colours? I thought she was lovely when she first came in but i dont now, far from it
