Things that ruined this years show.....

1. Maxwell being evicted
2. Roberto being evicted
3. BB picking all of the wrong types of girls

Carry it on.

MattBCFC 12-07-2005 08:18 PM

3.) Putting in 2 housemates (Eugene & Orlaith) who have not added anything to the house.

GabrielleisLove 12-07-2005 08:24 PM

Get over it Maxwll is gone! For the Lord's sake. I find it asinine to keep discussing evicted housemates. I like both Orlaith and Eugene too :P

chickenthing 12-07-2005 08:29 PM

Makosi pressing button - would have been better if another housemate had got to do something different on BB like the secret garden mission other than makosi

Ella 12-07-2005 08:45 PM

Bringing Orlaith and Eugene in was a mistake as Eugene is sooo boring and Orlaith loves herself to much

Kore 12-07-2005 08:51 PM

maxwell being evicted too early...

i agree with that

Dan_ 12-07-2005 08:52 PM

Makosi wanting to do all the secret missions.

Definately Maxwell being evicted, hes been a huge loss to the show in my opinion.

Sunny_01 12-07-2005 09:08 PM

Hmm thats a tough one - I think I would have to say the poor mix of people that they have put in.

Or just Makosi being in there at all!

Too much messing around with the nominations process has spoilt it for me a bit.

Dresser 12-07-2005 10:40 PM

Not enough flirtation, I do think that they didn't get the right mix of the housemates this year, Too many chiefs and not enough people getting along......

I would like to see a house made up of Mel from Series 1, Helen, Brian and Paul and Elizabeth from BB2, Jade, Kate & Johnny from BB3 with Shell, Emma, Stuart and Michelle fromm BB5. Finnished off with Makosi and Derek from BB6

Siouxsie 12-07-2005 11:04 PM

not nough team spirit in the house

agreed, were not gonna stop hearing about maxwell leaving until another nob head is evicted next year. . most of the chavwell fans will have liked victor, jason and ahmed last year...its so predictable

I think Scooby has hit the nail on the head. They need more tasks where they have to work as a team or at least in pairs to get to know eachother in some way, other than gossiping, flirting or bitching.

Red Moon 13-07-2005 12:03 AM

We have just had a beauty contest..... I'm sure we will be seeing that on the highlights tomorrow.

Giving them things to do stops them bitching for a while and gives us something to watch and it's got to be good for the house.

What's encouraging is it was Craig's idea and everyone took part.

Yeah but its only like the same people that like lipgloss bitches i.e its pretty much the same as Makosi and her lot and Marco, Nadia,Emma etc last year same people will like some similarities.I myself do prefer the alpha male type housemates so i was never going to find Kemal as my favourite.

But back to the question

Maxwells eviction has been the biggest thing to ruin the show this year for me,and the inclusion of two inept housemates that have had really no impact in the show as perhaps BB would have wanted. perhaps Kinga would have been a better option than that skinny cow Borla:sleep:

Romantic Old Bird 13-07-2005 07:49 AM

In a word, Craig.

Amy 13-07-2005 07:52 AM

Adding Orlaith and Eugene to the house!

Dr.G 13-07-2005 08:17 AM

Too many childish house mates = less flirtation + more pathetic bitching
last years show had a much better cast and was much more entertaining imo.

1_In_A_Million 13-07-2005 10:17 AM

nothing has ruined this years show that much, except maybe lesley being evicted!

Yeah agreed Ruth, whey too much messing about with the nomination process.:bored:

And also the poor choice of housemates.

nyameko 13-07-2005 11:22 AM

The public voted Maxwell out so I wouldn't say it spoiled the show however I can't blv Craig and Vannessa r still on there but it won't be long the numbers are going down.Who goes you decide !!!!

hass 13-07-2005 12:10 PM

puttin makosi in the house

~*Xtine*~ 13-07-2005 03:34 PM

Makosi getting to do more or less EVERYTHING lol Give the others a chance aswell  the amount a bitching and backstabbing aswell, there has been too much it just gets boring :bored:

IrishVicki 13-07-2005 03:44 PM

I agree with the too many chiefs comment and not enough straight males

GlitterEyes 13-07-2005 03:45 PM

I think the things which have ruined it this year are:
1...Not adding Kinga
2...Having Makosi seem to do every task
3...Not messing enough with the contestants minds
4...Not playing enough music to get people lively
5...Not making Science dress in the bikini lol

Dresser 13-07-2005 04:40 PM

I sometimes worry about this discussion board.

What makes entertaining viewing?? is it:

a) Housemates getting along and enjoying the experience

b) housemates bitching about each other, trying to get one over one another and only looking to get famous fast

c) Everyone hating everyone else i n the house, wondering why they put themselves there in the first place

I would personally go for a) ...

with more tasks to perform, more easy going attitude with each other, with an acceptance of the other persons faith, creed or sexual preference and point of view. would make the whole experience a better one.......... or is that just me dreaming of BB utopia??

Personally I.m bitter that Maxwell wont win bb6 and Michelle didnt win bb5, though at least Michelle did make it to the last 6. So I dont think its always the same ppl. Otherwise the BB winners would be pretty similar, and there really different.

I reckon that's been the main problem this year. BB5 had such a great mix but this year's HMs are very difficult to like.

I think you need the right mixture of everything really to have a good BB.

You need a certain amount of getting along and you need a certain amount of arguing. That way it's balanced and easier to watch.Like BB4 had everyone getting along,t'was terrible and BB6 now has everyone bitching ain't great.:bored:

Z 13-07-2005 09:12 PM

What is your problem, everyone?

OK, Big Brother have made it clear Makosi is their fave, and far too much of it.

But she's entertaining.

The bitching isn't fun to watch, but it must get boring in there. What else is there to do?

So yeah, they might bitch too much, but at least it's got us talking about it.

Dresser 13-07-2005 10:27 PM

I like the mix of BB2 and BB5 (BB1 was claustraphobic, BB3 was too divisive and BB4 was ...well boring (after Anouska left)

Nothing personal like, but BB6 has too many deviants in the house.
