Charlies pathetic attempt to emotionally blackmail the audiance.
Marcus - 'Get the tissues ready'
He knew exactly what was going to happen and Charlie delivered with both barrels. Apparently his mother is getting better because he is in the final weeks of BB. She knows it was his 'dream' (to much X factor Charlie) etc. etc. Of course he was implying that if he wins his mother will immediatly get better. Nice try Charlie, don't think its going to work for you though. |
Oh **** up, I still cant wait to laugh at you all when Charlie wins, will go to show that the shitty little hate on this forum is nothing compared to the millions of fans Charlie has that dont use forums!
|
Charlie won't win, not enough people like him. And about his mom, no one in England cares about his mom. Find me one person who really think he should win BECAUSE his mom is in a coma.
|
they were all upset apart from marcus at their messages

That was shocking...I wish his mum all the best, I really do, but he was blatantly trying to squeeze the sympathy vote there...why on earth would his mother be getting better BECAUSE he was on BB? Seriously...

Im not a Charlie fan at all but you all need to grip! Charlie isnt intelligent enough to plan that - he just got good news about his mother and why shouldnt he talk about it! Who are any of you to say he is using his mother to win? its a horrible attitude

Can't stand Charie, but its heartless to say he milked it.
I wish him and his family well regarding his Mum |

Exactly...and obviously he would cry about it, anyone with a heart would...however it is the fact that he reckons it is him being on BB that has made her improve...that theory makes no sense at all |

We don't know the circumstances, I believe she was aware before the Coma that he would be in it or was up for it. It maybe that they are playing BB show sound tapes to her in her room. Although seemingly out of it Coma patients are often played favourite songs, spoken to etc. |

what a small minded disgraceful attitude.ffs,of course he was bloody crying, anyone with half a heart would be.whats shocking is that anyone wouldnt have that same reaction, did he fake those tears to then.i find it sad that someone crys over something so emotional, and they are accused of trying to get the sympathy vote.not everyone thinks in the same manipulative way, they were real, and did he bang on all night like bea did, over her message, now thats baying for sympathy, and hardly on the same level.as merv quite rightly pointed out, hearing tapes, music etc,can be beneficial to people in comas.i find it odd that people are so quick to judge.
|
Charlie only deserves to win if hes a genuine housemate.. .and hes not hes a fake 2 faced bitch....
|
FFS this thread = fail. chairles mum is seriously ill, and he got some good news from his dad, who he hadnt seen in like 3 months. OF COURSE HE WAS GONNA CRY! id be shocked if he didnt, give the guy a ****ing break

Noone is saying anything about him crying...its the fact that he decided to say that his being on BB has made her better, which is ridiculous. Someone being on a tv show, does not bring people round from comas... |

Many people are suddenly coming out to support in a week where people are finally beginning to see through his act and that's exactly what he wants. It is incredibly naive to think that the lowlives that often count for BB housemates wouldn't stoop to any low. |

I don't think he was trying to influence the voters but I did find it incredibly odd how quickly he took complete and total credit for his mother showing signs of improvement. I think it's just another window into how self-centred he is and how brightly he thinks the sun shines out of his arse.
She's not actually in a coma. She's conscious and aware of what's around her she's just unresponsive to stimuli. So technically she's in a persistant vegative state. |
i fully agree that there have been many hms who would stoop to low levels, but i dont think there have been many who would stoop so low as to use a loved ones serious illness to achieve success.i guess i dont like to think that there are really people who are that disgusting,so,i suppose that could be classed as naive.whatever peoples opinions of charlie are, however insincere people may find him,it doesnt necassarily mean his love or concern for his mum is not genuine.

I Know nothing of the circumstances of any of it. What happened to his Mum to cause it? |
Sad that his mother is in a coma of course and he has every right to be upset.
However, Charlie was saying that because he is in the final weeks of BB she is getting better, which obviously implies that if he wins it will be a miracle cure. Using your mothers condition in that manner is a cynical and manipulative move and cannot possibly be seen as anything else. what other reason woul dhe have for linking his mothers illness with Big Brother? |
NOBODY and I mean NOBODY would use the fact their mother's in a coma to gain sympathy or use it as a gameplan. Its sick! To even think it makes you sick! Charlie is a cool lad he gets on with everyone there is no underlying gameplan with that guy. Some people really take the buscuit they really do. Grow up people and show a little bit of respect.

Most people would say 'I'm so happy my mums getting better.' Charlie said ' My mums getting better because she knows how much it means for me to be on BB, its my dream.' That **** is straight out of X factor. |

The X-Factor is a prime example (and Charlie has made no secret that he's a huge fan of the show). Every year you get more people who's partners/spouses have died of an awful disease or who have lost children in terrible circumstances. I feel for anyone who's had to go through anything like that but it also makes me extremely angry when they bring it up on a reality show knowing that it will gain them sympathy. Things like that should be kept private and only shared with close friends and family. Within days of Isaac being in the house Charlie was telling him all about it knowing full well that Noirin would probably be leaving that Friday so she could tell everyone what a 'genuine' lad he was and that he had more of a reason to want to win than the others. It's shameful that he's doing it,really! |
charlie wont make it in to the top 4.
|
FFS- if you wouldn't use it, don't even mention it.
The guy has mapped his stay in the BB house way before he went in, everything he does is orchestrated. Why do you think Isaac left? I tell you why- Charlie saw him as an instant threat to the 100k and so poured out the sympathy speel. On leaving, Isaac said that after talking with Charlie, he had no business being in there and that after what he had heard, he knew that he needed it a whole lot more than he did. If your Mother was terminally ill would you go on national TV whoring yourself, or would you be at her bedside every day? He fake from his Geordie forehead, down to he Geordie 'plates' His ad-lib lines are well rehearsed. |
What a HORRIBLE thing to say!
I'm not a Charlie fan particularly but I don't think for a second that he's a scheming, fake person or that he's manipulating and "emotionally blackmailing" the audience. There's no way he even thinks that way and who would use their mother's illness for sympathy in the first place?! What a load of rubbish !I'm glad his mom's getting better, good for them. Some people really need to channel their hate in other ways, this is so negative... |

I think that was the first time it was mentioned about his mother on the HL as well wasn't it? Charlies tears won't get him any sympathy, Bea made sure of that by taking over the whole night. He must know deep in his mind that the way he has acted does not deem him a winner.
